A warm welcome from the host, who was very friendly and helpful. The room was very cosy and the bed comfortable. The accommodation is ideally located for going into the town. The town has all the facilities that a traveller requires.

“Beautiful place to stay in Dordogne”
beautiful location on the Dordogne kayaking Argentat to Beaulieu. wildlife opportunities wagtails, herons, swifts, house martins. North American Mink. Gorgeous wild flowers. History and architecture. Lascaux cave paintings 40 000 years old 1.5 hours away.

“Welcoming”
Warm friendly welcome from the gentleman when we arrived. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a sink and small shower cubicle inside it and actually worked surprising well. The toilet was opposite our room but was for our use only so was fine. Nice simple breakfast in the morning. The town does not have much choice to eat at for dinner on a Sunday that is within walking distance. All 3 we went to were closed. 5 mins in car we found one though. There is a list of options in the room which was helpful.
