I had a very pleasant stay at this accommodation – it was comfortable and ideally suited for the length of our holiday. Its location is excellent, just a short walk from the city center, with shops and amenities nearby. The apartment is well-equipped, and housekeeping is provided every three days, including fresh bed linen and towel replacement, which was a great convenience. Barbara, the owner, was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. As an added bonus, we were granted access to the swimming pool at the hotel across the street, which made our experience even more enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again if I return to the area. “A wonderful base to explore the island”

A lovely little apartment, situated 5-10 minute walk out of Argassi town which was ideal. It was perfect for exploring the rest of the island as well as Argassi itself and Zakynthos town. Barbara was a wonderful host and met us on arrival to show us round and hand over the keys. We went to a couple of her yoga classes too at her studio just next door.

It was perfect for all your needs, easy to walk to the town, the beach, the pool! Everywhere! Also great to access yoga lessons during the week :-)

Host Barbara booked cabs for us and was there in 5 mins when I couldn’t get in because the sun was so bright I literally could not read my phone ( I’m 54 😅). Amazing host. Nothing was too much trouble.

I just got back from staying at Explorer's Rest and, wow, it was fantastic! The apartment had everything you could think of, which made everything super comfy and convenient. Barbara, the host, was a total star. She sorted out all my taxi rides and answered every single question we had. She really couldn’t have been more helpful! And then there was Peter, who kept the place spotless throughout my stay. Thanks to him, the apartment felt fresh and clean all the time, which was awesome. The location of the place was perfect, too. It was super easy to get around and check out all the cool spots nearby. Honestly, staying at Explorer's Rest was just great. I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a chill spot that feels like a home away from home.

Explorer's Rest is fantastic place where you will really feel on yourself Greek positive mood. The contact with Barbara is wonderful and quick. Any issue got resolved immediately. Argassi is the best place as a base for journeys to others parts of the Zakynthos Island. You will feel here like in your own Greek home! :)
