Beautiful cottage, lovely location, comfy beds, everything you need, Sophie is a fantastic host who provided everything we asked for.

“Fantastic gite & fantastic location”

Lovely property with great facilities, very tastefully furnished but also very comfortable. The bedrooms are very spacious with large extremely comfortable beds. The top floor has two king size beds and also has an aircon unit. The property has French cable tv but there were a couple of English speaking channels on there. There is one bathroom and a separate toilet downstairs, the shower is over the bath but is good. Plenty of parking at the property. Very quiet location with great outdoor seating and a lawned area. There is a lovely walk at the rear of the property over public access land. Stunning scenery. (Super) Sophie and Phillipe are perfect hosts, happy to help and advise but not intrusive.

“An amazing gite with the most welcoming and helpful hosts!”

We have stayed at the gite several times and we absolutely love everything about it. We take our two dogs and they have the best time, I think it's their favourite place on earth!! Sophie and Phillipe are impeccable hosts, they are so helpful and friendly and nothing is a problem. The gite is very well equipped and comfortable. There is a track directly behind the house which takes you up into the hills, great for the dogs and incredible views! I thoroughly recommend booking!

The hosts, Sophie and Philippe, were wonderful, friendly and charming. The gite is well equipped and with a great view. It is also truly pet friendly which was a joy for us and our dog Milou. So many properties say they are pet friendly when pet tolerant would be more apt. We had a wonderful stay.

We have spent a very nice weekend at Au Nid de Caroline. The house is amazing, even much better that what you see in the pictures. Besides, Sophie, her husband Philippe and her daughter Caroline are very kind. They made our stay really comfortable, helped us with everything we needed and gave us lots of good recommendations and advices. Many thanks. We will def be back. We recommended it without hesitation.

“The best holiday in a beautiful location!”

We absolutely loved our stay at Au Nid de Caroline! We took our two dogs who had the most amazing time too rummaging about in the wee forest and stream by the house. Loads of walking straight from the back door of the Gite. The Gite itself is beautiful and really well equipped. The local village, with shops, restaurant and an amazing butcher is a short drive or 45 minute walk over the hill on tracks. Sophie & Phillipe are the perfect hosts. We will be booking again for next year most definitely!
