The whole place was very clean and maintained very well by Sra. Soelia. The location was perfect and walkable for me almost every day. It's also a very quiet and safe area, and security is present around the entrance and the park every day.

This place feels like the programme " big brother". The owner is constantly watching what you are doing through the cameras that are around the house, texting you at night time but switching off lights of other common places in the house. Our stay was super uncomfortable. The only good thing is the kindness of the cleaner lady, which I felt sorry for her, as it looks like she is exploited by the owner. The toilet was supposed to be inside of the room and they gave us a room with toilets outside. The neighbourhood is a wealthy place, so expect the classisim from the owner. There is also a guy that comes every day to do meetings of architects, leaving tons of things to clean for the lady. He doesn't even say hello to anyone.

“Comfortable and quiet”

Villa San José is situated in a peaceful and beautiful location. The communal areas are beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Our bed was very comfortable and our window overlooked the inner yard, allowing us to wake up to the birds singing. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The villa is within walking distance of Arequipa historic centre, but taking a taxi is also affordable option. Nearby is Yanahuara square with the views on Misti volcano. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return!

The room was on the second floor of a lovely colonial house located in a safe and quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the center of Arequipa. We enjoyed the beautifully furnished and full of greenery common areas and comfortably equipped kitchen. We had free tea and coffee available as a compliment. The bed in the room was comfortable and the atmosphere cozy. The only slight inconvenience was that the bathroom, which was entirely at our disposal, had external access, although it was adjacent to the room. The lady owner was very nice and kind. Although her English was not at a great level, we got along well enough. There is parking available in the yard of the house. We had great time and are grateful for everything.

The area and house are really pretty with loads of vegetation, you have access to fully equipped kitchen and this room has it's own private garden. I loved this little garden so much I barely went out sightseeing as I found myself wanting to spend my days in it.

“A perfect, relaxing stay in beautiful Arequipa”

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa San José. We stayed five nights in total as we were so comfortable there. Bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable, and facilities in the house such as the kitchen are great, we felt right at home. The host was very kind and accommodating, letting us store bags during a trip and after check out. The house is about a 15-20 minute walk from the historic centre, but this did not matter as the suburb is such a lovely place to stay and explore. We would have stayed even longer if we could!!

Amazing place to stay. Host is really flexible, allowed us to check in early, change our booking and store bags until our bus. Really comfortable beds, great communal kitchen and tea point. 15/20 minute walk to centre, but means it’s really quiet. 100% the perfect place to stay in Arequipa.

Beautifully finished property. Room was spacious with lots of storage. Location was in a very safe, quiet neighbourhood (gated) and about 20 minute walk to the centre. Nice communal areas to relax both outside and in.

The room and the house are amazing ! Really big and comfortable bed. The have tea at disposal. The gardens are really cute and it is a quiet area which we appreciate a lot.
