The staff helped me a lot with laundry and waking up early to open the door and store my big bag before my trek ! The rooms were nice with outlet next to the bed.

Location, cleanliness and helpful staff

I travelled from nasca to Arequipa by cruz del sur bus.it was supposed to reach Arequipa by 12.30 in the night.I sent special request through booking.com to check in at that time.Host also replied will do his best.But bus reached Arequipa by 2.40 in the night and I reached hostel by 3 .Host was kind enough to check in at that time.my heartfelt thanks to the host.Bed,bathroom,toilet are super clean .plaza de armas was located in 50 meters.

“Ok”

Excellent location. Rooms ok. Had very late check in (after 11pm) and very early departure (2.40am) for a tour. The person at reception accommodated them.

Staff were very friendly. The room was big and sunny. The hostel is very well located just 1 min from the main plaza but still is very quiet!

Very nice terrace - with nice view, furnitures and bar (coffe, beer, etc.) running with nice man. Very clean room. Nicea atmospere (colonial building), very close to Plaza de Armas and close to buses to Terminal Terreste de Arequipa.

Location is great, just a few meters from the plaza de armas, althought, the place is very quiet because its an inner buiding (a bit hard to find). The staff was super willing and gave us good infos about the city and tours. Bed is confortable and the place is clean.

“Location made up for most things”

Amazing location! So close to the main plaza in a beautiful old building. The rooftop area was a cool space to enjoy volcano views, hammocks and a pool table. It has a cafe/bar and apparently hosts activities as well, but that part was very much closed up for the season. The room had super high ceilings so didn’t feel pokey, everything was super clean, hot showers worked perfectly, good WiFi. Well stocked communal kitchen if you needed it, but being so close to so many great restaurants, we didn’t.

Nice spacious room, really good hot shower. Around the corner from Plaza de Armas, but in a car free street, so very quiet! Nice roof terrace with hammocks and views. The staff is really friendly.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The location is good just near the plaza del Armas.

“Central location and good facilities”

We stayed in the 4 bed mixed dorm for 1 night and it was a comfortable dorm with bunk beds and comfortable pillows and blankets. The room and hostel was very secure with a good sized locker in the room (just need your own lock) and a key to get into the dorm and a buzzer to get into the main entrance of the hostel. The shared bathroom had a very hot shower which was amazing! There was a shared kitchen area. The location of the hostel was great with the plaza de armas (main square), convenience stores, restaurants and tourist attractions close by. Tour buses were also able to pick us up on the corner of the property. Overall great value for money in a really central location!

“Great value for money in good location of Arequipa old town”

Located very centrally in the old town of Arequipa on a pedestrian only street but tours/taxis can pick up right on the corner. The twin room was comfortable and spacious and the bedding was warm and comfortable. They helped with arranging an airport pick up for us for 35 soles which was nice. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to pay with credit card with a 5% fee. The rooftop terrace had a view of the volcanoes. The hot shower was actually HOT which was such a nice change from everywhere else in Peru. The building and rooms felt secure and safe. We were able to store our luggage for free. Overall a perfect place to stay for exploring Arequipa for a great price!

Comfortable if a little cramped rooms - others had windows but mine didn’t. Beds etc are a little old but comfortable. Simple breakfast, beautiful old building and a rooftop cafe that seemed a little deserted? Excellent location and cheap laundry service.

“Has everything you need”

Stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was all female guests. Large metal lockers in the room and ensuite bathroom. Basic decor, but good sized sturdy and very comfortable beds with nice thick blanket. Breakfast is provided and served to you - one fried egg, 2 rolls and butter and jam, coffee, tea and juice. All great for the price. Location fantastic - opposite Juanita museum and very near Plaza de Armas. They have a free luggage storage room for which you get a ticket if you leave a bag and 24 HR reception for early arrivals and departures. Oh and there's a roof terrace.
