The simple rooms at Mas la Llum, la casa de palla feature lime flooring and home-made paints. Each room offers mountain views. Bed linen and towels are provided. There are numerous fantastic hiking routes in the surrounding countryside, with the Els Ports Nature Reserve nearby. The beautiful Ebro Delta is around an hour's drive from the property.

“Real deal eco friendly tourism”
Everything about this place was great. Wonderful couple running it, they bent over backwards to help us with details about the local area and specially prepared breakfast (it was delicious). The local area is stunning, great for hikes and I strongly recommend the Via Verde cycle route starting in Horte de Sant Joan. The peace and quiet around Mas La Llum is something really special, especially if you normally live in a city or town. They have two lovely dogs that gave us a big waggy welcome before we could even get out of the car. They have a couple of books with pictures chronicling the build and the process to get where they are today and it really felt like we were staying in a Grand Designs house. Kevin McCloud would love this place.
