“Simply Excellent”

We exsperienced a fabulous welcome. A warm and hospitable family that was truly embracing. SImply perfect location, great cultural balance and was an honour to have stayed. The Stepanyan family is built on a legacy of wine making over (3) generations, and continues to build on a legacy thst will see a new constructed winery in 18 months time Good luck to you Hayk and family we will see ypu again. What can we say, we had an amazing stay. Its a family run winery and everybody gets involved. We arrived early and our room was ready. We mentioned that we would like lunch and the hosts cooked us an excellent barbecue with traditional sides. Along side this they provided us with a wine tasting session (we ended up.buying 3 bottles, which at £8 a bottle is a steal for the quality). We didnt realise that they were working vineyard and do tours, which was an added bonus. They run wine tasting sessions anyway but allowed us to join their existing session, which we very much appreciated as they had a big group booked already. The room was great, it had everything that you need for a night or two (including WiFi and a smart tv) and the bed was very comfortable. In the morning we were provided with a traditional Armenian breakfast, which was lovely. Would highly recommend to anybody. They make you feel like one of the family. A truly authentic Armenian experience. Thank you to the whole family.

“Fantastic stay in areni”

The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and spacious. You feel completely in your own space, it is very quiet and the bedroom is dark and comfortable. The air con is in the lounge and cools the whole space well. The tv is a smart tv. The rest of the property is beautiful, with a lovely garden and incredible views. The location is great for visiting areni’s attractions. The stepanyan family made this trip for us, they are all so lovely, polite, and friendly, and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved seeing the dried fruit production and the wine tasting and tour, the dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful and we left feeling so well fed and replenished. They were all so helpful and went out of their way for us several times. We are very grateful and cannot recommend this enough.

“Great guesthosue”

This a great guesthouse in Areni. The room is in a separate building, it is very spacious with living room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything is very clean. Air conditoning works well and is needed. It is in the living room but cooled down the entire space.The yard is a beautiful garden with grape vines, flowers, fruit and nut trees. We had breakfast and three dinners with them and all were excellent, varied and had large portions. On arrival we had a tour of the winery, and then did a wine tasting over dinner. The wine is excellent. The family is very kind and welcoming, they gave us a bag of fruit from their garden when we left.
