“A lovely and welcoming place to stay”

Where else can you stay in a beautiful treehouse, with private bathroom, hot shower, and even air conditioning! The room is sturdily built of wood with parts of the tree growing through it, and rain did not get in. A view of fresh green leaves through the windows and outside the bathroom. Close to all Areni places to see including caves, wineries and Norovank Monastery. Hosts Bella and Agassi are very welcoming, with homemade wine and honey. Bella cooked us a huge meal one evening complete with wine and vodka, served in a lovely covered seating area below. Parking was easy.

Nice rooms in a nice location. The landlady speaks English. If you want, she will make you an egg omelette with honey for breakfast.

Beautiful house with a huge vegetable garden… the room with a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom (even in the treehouse). The family is lovely and very helpful (the wife speaks english). And the dinner was humongous and very good. Two hot dishes pleanty of cheese salad and vegetables, half a bottle of wine and even a flask of vodka! It’s heaven!

“Unique experience”

A unique experience, sleeping in a small treehouse with a bathroom and air conditioning. The breakfast, featuring local products, was absolutely delicious.

Delicious wine and breakfast, comfortable rooms, very fair prices. Highly recommend this.

“Amazing stay and experience in the tree house”

We really enjoyed the tree house and the experience we had during our stay. The room was clean and very complete, with good wifi. The host was very nice and friendly. We had a lovely stay!

Friendly host who offered us a glass of local wine on arrival. Comfortable seating area outside with a very friendly little cat! The room was comfy with the help of air conditioning. Simple but well maintained room facilities. About 2 min walk from a mini mart for your basic food needs, and about 10 to 15 min walk to the main road where you can get the minibuses driving by on the way to Yerevan.

The owner woke us up at 8.00 am because she had to leave and wanted to get paid before that. The fact that the check-out time was 11.30 didn’t seem to bother her. Very rude and unprofessional. We don’t recommend this place.

“Charming house in the wine country”

Awesome place! This is a house hidden among beautiful big trees featuring several rooms, some of which are air-conditioned. One special room is located at a treehouse, however, it is very cosy bordering with small, so I would recommend it to fresh couples only. But the main shout out goes to the friendly and generous hosts who not only provide the rooms but also serve a delicious full-stack Armenian dinner. And, as this is a wine country, it is accompanied by local wine and liquor in no short supply. All in all, an exceptional experience.

“Pleasant stay in Areni”

Everything was great, The hosts were amazing, the room comfortable and very clean. I arrived for the wine festival and the place is in the perfect location, just a short walk from the village centre. I only feel sorry for not being able to stay for the breakfast as I was in the rush, the sight was mouth-watering

Breakfast was really nice, definitely a recommendation.

Lovely lady great food & cool shady setting

An excellent property, the treehouse is simply wonderful - very comfortable, and it is fitted with a toilet and shower! There is lots of space down on the ground underneath the tree to hang out and enjoy the family's homemade wine. The owners are very hospitable - the lady speaks English and German, and the man Russian.

Lovely guesthouse in the middle of the garden, the hosts were extremely friendly and offered some of their wine and honey which were incredibly tasty. Breakfast was very tasty as well and the rooms had a lot of charm
