Second time staying in this hotel. Short 5 min walk from train station. Located in the middle of the village. Another 5 min uphill walk to ski lifts Stjärnliften & VM6. We walked to the evening ski in VM8 one evening, took us 15 minutes. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, bed is nice. Sauna opens when the ski lifts close. Nice breakfast with coffee, tea, juices, boiled eggs, bread, pancakes and yoghurts.

“Overall lovely and definitely worth the price”
We didn't learn that the breakfast was included until we got there and we were pleasently surprised by the available choices. After our stay here we were moving to an apartment but didn't have anywhere to store our luggage in between check-out at Åre Torg Hotell and check-in at the apartment. The lockers at the station was full but the receptionist went above and beyond to help us out. We were so grateful.

I actually hurt myself while skiing and the staff were really nice and helped me. So all in all this hotel was good and well managed. Perhaps the standard of the rooms could be better with at least a TV in all rooms. Mine didn´t have a TV. This was a shame.

Location is perfect, doesn’t get better than this. Relaxed atmosphere in the open spaces, plenty of groups having pizza, playing board games etc.

Close to the slopes. The attached bar/restaurant is nice. Good food and drinks. The bed is comfortable.
