Overview
Situated in the typical Engadin village of Ardez with its historic Sgraffito-adorned houses, the Schorta's Alvetern offers Grisons cuisine, free internet access and a ski shuttle. Wi-Fi is available in the entire building and there is also an internet station at your disposal free of charge. All rooms in the Schorta's Alvetern are en-suite and most of them offer panoramic mountain views. There is a library in the common room, inviting to relax after a day out in the mountains. In summer, a lunch for the daily hiking tours is available. A 5-course half board menu can be booked for a surcharge. On request, a shuttle transfer from and to the train station can be arranged.

“Motorbike through Switzerland.”
Every minute in this place is a true pleasure and a feast for the senses and tastes. You can relax in comfortable rooms or on terraces overlooking the beautiful mountains or the historic town. If you feel like a short walk with views, you can take a stroll through the town, the ruins of the castle and then a longer path into the mountains, where you can listen to the sounds of nature among the meadows and pastures. The owners will surround you with care and take care of every detail, we are on the Grand Tour of Switzerland and this is our number 1 of the entire tour. We recommend the place for accommodation to all motorcyclists and not only. Ps. An excellent choice for breakfast will recharge your energy for the nearby trails and mountain passes. Big plus for the possibility to prepare sandwiches and coffee for the road.

“A sunny two day winter stay in the best of places in Engadin.”
What is excellent about this hotel is that as of the moment you step in you feel welcomed. The staff and the owners will do all to make your stay memorable. Even the two young boys of the owners running around are friendly and helpful. The location is superb with a view on the mountains nearby. The restaurant area is light and intimate at the same time due to the lights and the interior design. Sipping away the last few drops of wine near a burning fireplace and your bottle being brought to you.... it just makes on wonder why leave at all.

“Cosy stay with gorgeous mountain view”
The hotel is a cosy place, with lovely terrace with gorgeous view to the mountains. The family who owns it is very friendly and hospitable. It’s located conveniently in the beginning of the Ardez village and it’s clean.
