It was so pretty and how was so friendly I felt very welcome and safe. This was my first solo travel abroad and it was fantastic. Breakfast was lovely. It was very personal and quaint.

a warm and friendly greeting,good location for visiting the mont,quiet,good secure parking area,did not try the wi-fi so cant comment,10 minute walking distance to food establishments and shopping,a free shuttle service is within a 10 minute walk.use of a kitchen ,a large fridge with individual baskets for each room,c/w microwave,handy it one wants to self provide meals,good breakfast.

An this does not mean that your interaction with the host is too intensive. she explains what is necessary, is there for nice chat if you want and at the same time you have all the privacy. In case you want non-personalized fancy emotionless hotel experience -this place is not for you!

Right next to the car parks and shuttle to Mont St Michel. Walking distance to restaurants. Super friendly staff.

I have stayed in many places, but none came even close to La Jacotiere. Veronique has thought of everything to make the stay feel like home, the location is incredible with the most majestic view of Mont St Michel. I would strongly encourage everyone to stay there for the full experience

“Wonderful stay!”

The owner was very kind and prepared everything clean. We were 7 people -four adults and three kids-, so we stayed in the family room and a normal room. I think kids were very noisy, but the owner didn't mind. The breakfast was also organized and delicious. There were baguette, croissant, a variety of cheeses, fruits and drinks. The view of Mont Saint Michel seen from the garden of the hotel was majestic. I recommend this hotel for people who want to stay in a calm place near Mont Saint Michel. I appreciate for the owner's kindness. Hope we stay there once again in the future!

The breakfast experience was quite disappointing. The owner was extremely stingy — on the first morning, we received exactly two small glasses (100 ml each) of orange juice served in a tiny thermos. On the second morning, the amount was even less, just enough for one and a half glasses. All the food was kept behind a tall, slanted glass display, like in a shop, and handed out in small portions. While the owner said we could ask for more, her tone discouraged us from doing so and took the joy out of the meal. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, likely due to the age of the house.

“Perfect”

The perfect spot for visiting mont st michel, an easy 20 minute walk to the base, avoid all the crowds on the buses and a great view while you walk. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and you have the most lovely host who took her time to explain the area to us and provided an excellent breakfast!

The best place we spent the night in France during our trip. Veronique is the great host, very helpfull and friendly. She let us leave our motorcycle gear at her place to give us a chance to visit Mont Saint Michel without all that heavy stuff. The place is 5 minutes to shuttle bus stop.
