Situated right at the Danube River and overlooking Greinburg Castle, Gasthof zur Donaubrücke is 2 km from Grein. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian cuisine and has a terrace with river views. Very clean cosy ,great location, just a short distance from the highway. Nice view over Danube river. The food was excellent. I haven’t been in long time in such a nice location, attention to details . Thanks for such a nice experience.

“Superb stay along Danube”
Excellent hotel located along the Danube river. We were cycling and the storage facilities were excellent. The evening meal was superb and having a sauna and relaxation area a great bonus, with robes supplied. Staff very friendly and professional. My wife left her wedding ring behind and they rang us to inform and will post to our home country.

Situated in a remarkable location along the Danube, the hotel offers truly impressive views from its restaurant and terrace. A real bonus was the dedicated and secure garage for bicycles. The furnishings are a tasteful reflection of Austrian traditions, creating a lovely atmosphere.

“Proper Austrian hospitality”
Perfect for cyclists & anyone who enjoys peace & quiet. Sat looking over the Danube bridge the rooms were squeaky clean & big. The staff were wonderful & helped us out immensely when the Danube flooded & a storm made it impossible to continue with bikes. They arranged a taxi with bike trailer to take us on to next destination.
