Overview
The Hotel León includes free access to 8,000m² of thermal pools. The hotel is part of the Archena Spa in the province of Murcia, surrounded by large gardens. All guests at the Balneario de Archena - Hotel León have free access to the extensive Spa Piscinas Termalium. There is also a children's section with water jets and slides. A wide range of massages and treatments are also possible on site. There is an elegant restaurant and a nice terrace with views over the River Segura. Buffet-style options are available for breakfast and lunch, with à la carte dining at night. Rooms at the luxurious Balneario de Archena - Hotel León all have satellite TV. They have typical Spanish décor and a private bathroom.

We stayed for the spa and hiking in the local area. Our rooms weren't the best, but the resort itself is pretty impressive. All the staff we spoke to were professional and friendly, especially those in the casino bar!

“We will definitely be back.”
We were given a free upgrade to 4*. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We loved the pool area especially as it was included in the price. We paid to use the thermal area and loved it too. Breakfast was good. We ate in the Casino cafe the food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced.

The Hotel Leon was ok. We Have stayed in a lot better 3 star Spa hotels in Spain. The room needed a few repairs and could do with a repaint. There was no tea making facility in the room. No hair dryer. No mini bar the internet did not work. And therefore there was no netflix on the TV. The room was clean and warm. To park the car in the underground car park was 8 euros a day. I do think the price for the hotel and pool facilities was very expensive. The spa and indoor pool facility was great but very over crowned. Far to many people let in to the pool area. We had to pay extra to use the sauna steam room and additional pools. The breaksfast was ok only had it once. But again not worth the money at 14 euros each. We went to the on site Restaurante the food snd service was excellent. As well as the bar. Quite lively bar, lovely tapas. The hotel was very noisy not what you want for a quite weekend away. The total cost for the weekend two nights was 440 euros hotel, pool and parking only. No Food was included in this price. We could have had a 5 star Spa hotel for this price for two nights. Would not recommend or stay here again.

“Revamp”
The thermol baths were great very relaxing have been before. The breakfast was very good all taste were covered from bacon to Hamon to fruit.They could put some road signs in the town so you can find the place easyer especialy at night would get more clients They could put a kettle in the room like most hotels thies days especialy for when you arrive late wayne

“Very enjoyable, the spa pool is excellent and the hotel very comfortable.”
A beautiful place. On arrival we found Hotel Leon was closed and they directed us to Hotel Levante ( all on the same site ) which we felt was a superior hotel. The cost remained the same.
