Very beautiful location, stunning views. Road to get there requires good driving skills and a good enough vehicle. Close to beautiful beaches and a few historical sites. Some hiking in the area possible. Dinner very good - mostly farm produce. Breakfast - variety of choices, some home-made produce. The owners friendly.

L’Aquila is a charming place with delicious( and very generously big portions of) dishes. The location is breathtaking! Be prepared for the not paved 1 km road

“Genuine Food and Breathtaking Views”

The accommodation is in a wonderful location, secluded from reality with breathtaking views. The food is very abundant and it was delicious for both dinner and breakfast with a very genuine taste. Their homemade yoghurt was my favourite which I topped with a swirl of honey, and it had the best consistency I've ever tasted. I recommend walking around the area to feel the peace there, you can also find goats walking around. Before going there, I saw a lot of comments regarding the road but I can say that it was totally fine with a Fiat 500 which has some clearance.

Wonderful location, very remote and beautiful. Great experience and delicious dinner. All the negative reviews about the road and access to the property are wildly exaggerated. The road is fine if one goes slowly and carefully. We were in a little car and it wasn’t a problem at all.

We were overwhelmed by the kindness of the hosts William and Marita. The second plus is the great food in quality and quantity! 100% recommended!!! Come with an empty stomach for dinner. We had great fun milking the goats and would definitely return for another stay here in Sardinia. We also enjoyed the landscape, the remoteness and the short ride to a beautiful beach. We were happy to extend for another night. Greetings from Austria!

The Hotel was very remote and peaceful. The drive up was a little challenging but worth it. The dinners grown, prepared, cooked and served by the owners (their son and the rest of the family!) was probably as close as you get to proper Sardinian food... delicious. The barbecued ( large wood fired BBQ in the kitchen) goat chops and goat stew was definitely first class. I think 5 courses (?) all very good. The pasta dishes were also very good. One night 12 in the restaurant the next just the two of us ... no problem. Bed was comfortable. Slept with the window open so kept cool. It is what it is. A rural, nearly at the top of the road/mountain rustic, Sardinian family farmhouse. Don't miss the experience. Brilliant. Thank you.

Views are fantastic. William and Marietta were great hosts and the evening meal provided a taste of typical Sardinian food.

It was our desire to try out the farm stay in Sardinia, since we have stayed in all sorts of accommodations along the coast towns in Sardinia in the past 2 weeks. So L'Aquila farm is exactly what we expected - simple, quiet and lovely. William and his family were good host. Farm dinner tasted good and abundant. By the way, one has to inform William in advance that they are dining at their place for them to prepare food. (But it seems a general practice in farm stays in Sardinia.)
