The couple having The homestay took good care of us. They gave recommendations for snorckeling spot. You can rent snorckeling gear there. They gave some delicious fruit when we arrived. We stayed for 1 week. You can walk down at snorckel at waiwai beach. Full or corals and we also so turltes two times here. But I recommend to go at high tides.

“Incredible hospitality, kindness, and generosity”
Our family stayed at Guest House Maui on the beautiful Miyakojima island in July-August 2023. Incredible hospitality, kindness, and generosity reign in this place thanks to the owner Saito san, former professional board-surfing athlete, and his partner Haru san. The property has a relaxed Hawaiian feel to it. The rooms are comfortable and homey. There is a kitchen and a cozy common area. Everything is pristine clean. Infrastructure wise, Maui has everything: car rentals, parking, snorkelling gear, laundry, emergency food supplies, good advice about local restaurants, snorkelling spots, etc. Imgya Marine Garden is literally a 5 min walk from the guesthouse. We do not speak Japanese but Google Translate helped overcome the language barrier - there was no issue whatsoever. Also, pre-travel communication with Maui was excellent. We are forever grateful to Saito san and Haru san for the memorable days we spent together at Maui. We miss you!
