Enrique and family took great care of us. Very good location to access Parque Nacional del Chicamoca. Beautiful veiws of the canyon and nice hike accessible from the back of the property. A nice delicious Breakfast was provided for a small additional price. Definitely worth it.

It is a peaceful perfect view place

The view was impressive and it was also interesting to see all the coffee plans around. The short walk to the hill was nice because we could see the two sides of the mountain.

“Beautiful location”

The view is incredible, a hazy sunrise and direct view of sunset. Friendly cats and dogs! They have a 'mini bar' with water, fizzy drinks, juice, beers and some small snacks which was really useful. Breakfast was fairly big and delicious. You get a discount on paragliding next door which costs I think $200.000 COP and they had a contact for someone who can drop you off at the canyon, she even brought us to Barichara at a good price!

“Charming and peaceful stay”

Friendly and attentive host. Superb views!! Quaint little cottage with charm. Quiet and breezy. Sometimes you can see the paragliders sailing by in the morning. (And it's super close to the paragliding place!)

I totally recommend to stay at the Cabañas. A peaceful and comfortable place with a stunning view to the Cañon. This place is 10/10!

The warm welcome of the host made me feel right at home. He trok really good care of me, arranged breakfast and a last minute dinner! Secondly, the view is gorgeous, something you really have to experience yourself. The cabañas themselves were cosy and nice too. All in all a really welcome surprise, definitely will be visiting again if I ever get the opportunity

We had a wonderful stay at The Cabanas Del Chicamocha.It is so a beautiful place in so a wonderful area.It is so nice,so quiet with an unforgettable view to the Canon Del Chicamocha. The owner is very,very helpful.He answers very quickly to all your wishes and organizes taxis and meals. All was perfect at this very special place.We are so happy to have beeing there . Many,many thanks to the owner and his unforgettable cabanas at an exceptional place.

Friendly staff Quiet place in the middle of the nature with a beautiful garden and a spectaculair view on the Chicamocha canyon! Good place for hiking and nature lovers. There is a nice hiking route to the main entrance of Chicamocha national park.

Beautiful spot in the middle of the Cañon Del Chicamocha. The cabaña was big, with an incredible view on the Cañon as well as great outdoor space for kids to run around. The place is so peaceful and perfect to admire sunsets or walk near by. The staff is lovely and very helpful which make your stay unique. Do not miss this incredible spot in the nature before travelling else where in the region of Satander. I will recommend before heading to the cabañas it's better to get groceries/food as there is a kitchen in the cabaña. Plan your journey if you haven't rented a car, we booked a taxi from bucaramanga in advance which was very convenient and not too expensive (180mil cop for 4). The cabañas also have a taxi contact to drive anywhere. There is a breakfast option at the cabañas if you need or restaurant on the main road which you will need to get by car. Another advice if you are keen to do parapente, you don't to go to san Gil as most of the parapente companies start from their it's between 5 to 10min walk depending on the company choosen. That's was definitely my highlight whike there parapente in the Cañon to truly enjoy the view!

The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us organise our hike and transportation. The location of the cabins is amazing, the view is spectacular. The cabins are nice and cosy. Facilities are basic but good.

“Quite simple rooms, glorious views, wonderful service”

It is worth staying here just for the views alone. Sitting on the veranda looking at the view is a highlight of coming to Colombia. The owners are lovely. A few mosquitos around but we had our own net so they were not a problem.
