“The perfect place to have a few relaxing days on Tenerife away from crowds”

“Peaceful hillside location with great views”

We loved our stay at Finca Ecológica Ferrera. Alojamiento Rural. Its away from the hustle and bustle of town, has great views to the sea and mountains behind and we were greeted by a complimentary bottle of wine from the vineyard and a box of fresh fruit, oh and three cats who seem to live there and wait outside the front door. There’s also a range of wines on the side from the vineyard for you to purchase and its worthwhile doing. The accommodation is clean, well equipped, has a large fridge/freezer and modern kitchen, plus lots of hot water. Bath robes, towels and toiletries were provided along with ample wood for the BBQ and wood fired Jacuzzi which is bliss to use in the evening while watching the stars and clouds roll over the mountains behind. You can do walks from the front door, including walks through the old lava flows either side of the property or drive an hour into Anaga Mountains, our favourite area, or into Teide National Park for the essential trip up the volcano which is spectacular but can get very busy. AllTrails is excellent for finding walks here. We found ‘HiperDino Polígono Industrial de Güímar’, 20 minutes away, the best for grocery shopping. Don’t use a TomTom GPS to find the property. Mine got us lost up a narrow dead end road in the dark. Follow the owners instructions and use Google Maps accepting the roads are narrow, steep and unsurfaced in places. Keys for the property are in a lock box on one of the pillars by the large metal entrance gates you drive through, 20 metres before the accommodation. We had a Nissan X-Trail hire car and it was ideal. So, a lovely place to stay, we’d happily return here and recommend it to our friends.

“A beautiful mountain cottage in the middle of a vineyard with a view of the coast”

The cottage is in an amazing location with a wonderful view of the coast and the surrounding vineyards. The place is very peaceful, undisturbed by any other tourists. Birds sing in the morning, lavender smells and pines rustle. The interior is perfectly renovated and resembles a mountain hut. The equipment is very modern and clean. Beds with warm duvets are excellent. The owner is very accommodating, communicates quickly in English via WhatsUp. Upon arrival, a large basket with local products was prepared. It is possible to taste local wines and beer right at the cottage. We would love to come back to this place again.

“Stunning stay in remote area of Tenerife”

Stunning place to stay, amazing house with fantastic views and aminities. The host was great at keeping in touch and even left some surprise local produce on our arrival, will be going back for sure :) *A note that if you stay at this location you will need to hire a car, especially if you plan on visiting other areas of the island during your stay. The property is fairly remote, the drive up and down! are mostly single roads track and through a narrow village, something to be aware of especially if your are an inexperienced foreign driver.

Wow - this hidden away lodge is beautiful. The View, The Hot Tub, The Wine, all this in a beautiful vineyard set on a hillside overlooking the Eastern Coast of Tenerife. The lodge has been expertly renovated to a very high specification and is both spotlessly clean and beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay. The finca was stunning, very clean and modern. Full equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Will definitely be returning
