“QUIETNESS AND WELL-BEING”

Perfect location if you are looking for quietness, yet within a short walking distance to the centre of this beautiful village. The room equipment is well thought and the bedding most comfortable. There is no road passing by in front of the rooms but a big “jump” towards the valley granting a quiet surrounding and a beautiful panorama. Excellent breakfast in a veranda with a sunny deck to enjoy outdoor breakfast with view. The friendly couple owning the place looks after your well-being very closely !

Absolutely fantastic place with an unbelievable view. The owner was really kind and rescued our car which we had abandoned in the town when we had missed our turning to the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooms comfortable and quiet and the town a short walk away. Highly recommended.

Very nice comfortable suite, beautifully decorated and accommodated with the most beautiful feature being its fabulous fireplace and supplied wood.

The guesthouse is impeccable. From the cleanliness and comfort to the hospitality of the hosts, and to top it all off, there’s an incredible view from the balcony and the breakfast area. They also have a private parking area, which is very valuable in a place like Arachova. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the town center. We’re truly grateful, and we will definitely stay here again on a future visit.

“Greece in the Mountains”

Very friendly host and hostess, they had great recommendations for each of the days we visited that we wouldn't have found without their guidance. The room was spacious and comfortable. Location amazing and a short walk into town. We used Almond House as a base to visit Kelaria ski resort, Eptalofos village with a waterfall running through, Delphi and Galaxidi a quant seaside town. Lots of restaurants to choose from in Arachova... we went twice to To Tsoukali... can't recommend it enough. 3nights the perfect stay.

“What views! Highly recommended as a place to stay when visiting Delphi, or exploring the mountains”

The hillside location of the AlmondHouse is stunning. The views from the suites and the terrace are awesome. A perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of local wine in hand. The rooms are large, and had everything we needed. We slept well in the large comfy bed. Yiannis and Hara are charming. They gave us many helpful for suggestions for places to visit and eat (go to Tsoulali - we had some the best food and restaurant experiences we have had anywhere in Greece). We enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace. The variety of food on offer suited us very well, and was good value. The AlmondHouse is 5-10 minutes walk from the centre of Arachova, which is a pretty place to explore. Delphi is 10 min drive down the valley - such a magical place to visit. We loved staying here.

Ioannis and Haroula are exceptional hosts. Quiet location, parking no problem, unbelievable views, modern and ample facilities and great breakfast. Perfect for our one night and would stay here again without hesitation.
