“Perfect family run stay”

Very clean and comfortable property. Very well equipped too with kitchen equipment. Hostess is brilliant, went out of her way to help us with booking transfers and ensuring we had everything we needed. Yes location is a little bit out but they dropped us wherever in Ao Nang at whatever time we wanted. Gave us lots of water bottles on request. Great dog :)

Lovely hosts, very welcoming great setting...kids had a great time in the pool/s. Accomodation has been the best so far in Thailand ...very modern and comfortable. Food lovely and walkable to lots of other restaurants. Easy to get into Ao Nang. Very near Muy Thai training and fights, if that is your thing. Overall a great stay. Thank you

“Lovely relaxing stay, friendly staff, would recommend”

We liked that this property was outside of the busy Ao Nang main streets. It has 2 lovely pools and a good small kitchen on site that provides breakfast, meals and coffee/drinks if you want it. The owner is lovely and so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. They also run a free shuttle down into Ao Nang at various times through the day. Our villa was clean and the beds very comfortable. There are some really good restaurants a few minutes walk away and some small shops. You can also get your laundry done at the villa. We did lots of trips and it was always so nice to come back and relax in peace and use the pool at the end of the day. We would recommend staying here and stayed for 6 nights.

We had an incredible stay at Pinthong Aonang Villa with our family. The villa was very family-friendly, extremely clean, and well maintained. The food was delicious and available at very affordable prices. The staff were always helpful, kind, and attentive to our needs. A special thanks to the owner, who was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help us with everything. Our whole family truly enjoyed the stay, and we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ao Nang. We will definitely come back again!

Really clean, 2 very spacious pools, very comfy bed. Staff and owner were all lovely. The hotel has millions of tours available, we booked one and it was brilliant. They gave us fresh towels every day and went out of their way for us. Really lovely hotel.

“Felt very welcome and well looked after.”

Exceptionally friendly helpful staff. Excellent laundry if you have dirty clothes from your travel. It’s out of town so need grab taxi or tuk tuk to get around. Rooms clean and well equipped including kitchen. A slice of Thai family life. Good restaurant just cross the road.

“One of the best places we have stayed”

We had a wonderful stay at Pinthong Ao Nang. It’s a small but very cosy place that immediately made us feel comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay—they really treated us like family, which made a big difference. The location is a bit more remote compared to the busy areas, but we actually saw that as an advantage. It offers a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. There’s also a small playground for kids, which is a nice bonus for families. Overall, we liked it very much and would happily return. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and welcoming place to stay.

“A super relaxing stay, where you become one of the family as soon as you check in!”

Pinthong was an exceptional stay as a family of 4. The complex only has maybe 9 or 10 villas which surround the 2 pools, so once you were in - it really felt like home all around not just at your villa. From the moment we set foot off our bus we were made to feel welcome and the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were looked after! The bar area offered amazing service from my 7am coffee - breakfast, lunch and dinner with both Thai and western options (for the kids) and a range of really really tasty smoothies! The kids loved the pool area and made a long time bond with the on site puppy - coffee. On the map the complex may look a little distance from the main ao nang town, but the free shuttle service made regular visits a thing of ease. Overall I really would I would recommend this stay, if there was more options for stars I would rate it higher! Massive thanks To everyone at Pinthong that made our stay as memorable as it was, and I hope to bring my family back one day!

We originally booked this place because of the reviews that said how great the family who run it are but we didn’t expect to love it as much as we did. Wanna is, without doubt, the best host that we met during our whole stay in Thailand. She immediately made us feel at home and took exceptional care of us. She organised our trips, helped treat our mosquito bites and made sure we always took umbrellas out with us during the hot midday sun. Plus she made us laugh a lot. The resort is peaceful, small and clean. The staff are always working to make sure everything is well maintained. It is in a quiet corner, outside of the hectic main hub of Ao Nang and we were really happy to have somewhere calm to come back to each day. Our villa was great, had everything we needed and was very comfortable. There are hammocks to use dotted around and there are also pool towels by reception. We also enjoyed the local food at the resort and also at restaurants nearby. If you want perfection then there are plenty of impersonal 5* resorts around but if you want to stay somewhere authentic and with heart then I would 100% recommend staying at Pinthong Aonang Villas. Plus their dog is absolutely adorable!!

“Highly recommend Pinthong”

Wanna and her team are incredible!!! From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble & inctedibly friendly. . The accomodation is fantastic, just what we were looking for.....a small complex of 10 lodges/chalets all centred around two pools, which Wanna said her nephews made. The breakfasts and coffee are great, especially the pancakes & fruit!!! Before arriving in Ao Nang our son needed stitches in his foot. We asked Wanna where would be best to hire a wheelchair from, she quickly made some phone calls and she took us with her to collect it! Shuttle buses to town, one way, about 4 times a day and we got Grab back for about 83baht. Its a 15 minute walk to a 7 11 and across the road from there is a Buddha in the hills, 216 steps up to it! Worth a visit. Initially we thought we'd prefer to have been closer to Ao Nang centre however we wouldn't have changed it for anything! We highly recommend.

Everything was great. Staff were exceptional. Very clean. I loved the location. They cleaned the room daily and provided clean towels and bottled water. Staff truly wanted to make your stay exceptional. They provided a suttle to town. Restaurant on site. Coffee, the puppy was a cute added bonus. I would definitely stay here again!

Very clean with daily cleans, good sized rooms, restaurant on site with good food, kind and helpful staff. Transport available one way to Ao Nang beach daily multiple times a day. Beach towels available free of charge. 2 mins walk another restaurant with good food.

“Great place”

Great place — the staff are really helpful with any question or request, and there are regular shuttles to the beach several times a day. The garden has two pools, lots of hammocks under the trees, and it seems they really invest in the experience. We booked all the activities on-site with the kind help of the lovely Sand! Overall, the team there lives up to the high quality of service providers in Thailand. Everything comes with a smile and they always do the extra to make you feel like family. As for meals, they serve an à la carte breakfast — very tasty and varied. It’s far from the beach and from all the attractions, but it felt calm and peaceful, which is exactly what we were looking for.

We had a wonderful stay here, made even better by the amazing lady who runs the complex. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and goes out of her way to make sure guests feel comfortable and looked after. Her warmth and attention to detail really make this place special. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it. The property itself is lovely, comfortable and peaceful. What really sets it apart is her hospitality, attention to detail and genuine warmth, I will definitely be returning.

“Warm welcome and nice atmosphere”

We would like to recommend this accommodation very much. We were warmly welcomed and Sand was always approachable to us and was always interested in whether we were doing well - she is a sunshine and made our stay a lot better with her warm-hearted nature, especially because we found aonang too touristy. The coffee in the restaurant was very tasty, the breakfast is rather simple. If you want a family atmosphere, but are still looking for a quiet place, you should go to this accommodation.
