First of all, Nimal is a wonderful, kind host with plenty of knowledge to share with his guests. The Poya weekend I was there was rather special and he gave some good tips. The location is some distance from the old city, but it's pleasantly quiet. Breakfast was very nice including chapati, toast, egg and fresh fruit.

Nimal is a great host very helpful and good English speaking. Room was a good size.A lot of mosquitoes outside (seems normal in Sri Lanka) but fine in the room. Room was very clean and quiet.

Comfy homestay owned by Nimal, who is a helpful & caring host, ready to help always. Room is absolutely clean & tidy. Near to temples area. Cool to stay for few nights during your stay in Anuradhapura.

I had the pleasure of staying at Nimal’s House and meeting Nimal, a truly wonderful, kind, and welcoming person. He immediately made me feel at home with his warmth and hospitality. The breakfast he prepared was delicious and carefully made: I had the chance to try jackfruit for the very first time in my life, and I will always be grateful to him for this experience! “Great value and lovely place”
Great place to stay for 2 nights, the breakfast included was so nice we got omelet, toast, fruit, coffee was really nice and great value. Room was nice and good air con. Nimal was such a good host even helped my friend get some glue for her glasses she broke. Was safe to park our tuk tuk inside his gated property as well. Highly recommend
