“Home away from home. Highly recommended!”

I was here for 3 weeks in January on a work-related trip. This was a perfect home for my stay and certainly among the best accomodations I ever had in Madagascar. Hotel staff was fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful with any request or need that I had, far beyond normal hotel services. Just ask, and Tsiory, the manager, will find a solution - from finding the barber to exchanging money! They also arranged me a car transfer from Ivato airport, which was very convenient. Prior to my arrival, they answered all my questions e.g. about the conditions in Antsirabe in the rainy season, and responses usually came within minutes of me sending a question. They even dismounted the LCD TV from the wall for me so I could use it as a secondary laptop monitor. Hotel is located in a quiet side street but within a walking distance of everything Antsirabe has to offer. Room was very spacious with a great balcony. After a 3 week stay I can also reliably confirm that the hotel restaurant is among the best in Antsirabe. I highly recommend their national dishes of Madagascar which were fabulous. Restaurant otherwise has an Indian slant - perhaps not 100% authentic, but very good nonetheless. This is simply one of those places which you are sorry to leave :-) I am coming back in a few months!!

The room was very big and clean. They invited us to park our car inside their fence, where there’s a guard all the time. We had dinner there and it was very good. We had to leave really early so we didn’t have breakfast. The staff was friendly and welcoming. To visit the town, you can leave the park at the hotel and walk. Very recommended!

There simply isn't anything to dislike about this place, everything was more than I expected and I'll definitely be staying there again on my way back North.

“Excellent”

Excellent value the triple room is actually a two bedroom 70m spacious area. Staff very friendly enough who speak excellent English. Food at restaurant good value and tasty. Quiet location even for weekend stays.

“Perfect for one night …”

The room was really huge, with a double bed and a single bed. There were two bathrooms – one with a toilet and sink, and the other with a sink and shower. There was also a hairdryer, which is something many hotels don’t provide. The hotel was clean overall. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but it was fine. Right next door there’s a little bar called La Cabane Chez Cla, which we really enjoyed – in the afternoon we had beer and chips there, but they also serve other food. The best part is that it’s directly attached to the hotel.

The room was spacious, comfortable and super clean. Tsiory was so helpful in helping me find transportation and facilities in the town! Food is safe to eat here and the room even had a kettle

Very reasonably priced, good restaurant, friendly staff and in a good location near one of the mini bus company’s Antsirabe base.

“Way too expensive for what you get.”

Breakfast was disappointing and not according to agreed menu/booking. E.g., no fresh fruit, only a smoothie as replacement. Microwaved bread that was still frozen on the inside. They served us butter that had been served to other guests previously. This is a health concern! They did not provide food for our drivers (which is usually the case staying in hotels in Madagascar). Both us and our drivers were disappointed by the service that the hotel provided.

“The place to stay in Antsirabe”

Fantastic place, great staff. The food in the restaurant is fabulous, also for vegetarians. We had the the bathtub room and it was huge, the bed was king-size, so was the bathroom with a fantastic shower, fridge and kettle on the room. Easy to walk to the old train station, banks, supermarkets. We wanted to stop again on the way back, but due to itinerary change, had to cancel. But that's the place to go, don't hesitate.

Very nice Hotel in the center of Antsirabe. Very clean and nice staff! Breakfast was also very good! European standards and above!

Very spacious room and tub. The food was amazing! Great hospitality. Even though we had an issue with the check out, they handled it and everything got sorted.
