Very quiet and pretty location. I wish I had time to stay longer. The wifi was really good all over the property which was good for me as a digital nomad. Great kitchen too. I had a massage from Ale which was one of the best I have ever received!

My stay at Vihara was amazing! So amazing that I kept extending my stay. This place had everything I needed to unwind from busy travel days, from a place to do yoga, to a beautiful view and a comfortable bed to sleep in. The place is a bit of a walk to the center but this has appealed to me as there is barely any noise or commotion. There was a nice kitchen to cook your own meals and there was a very comfortable area to chill and relax. Would recommend this to everyone!

The place is really nice, right in a pretty part of Managua with mountains all around and lovely views. It's quiet and calm there. Everything's clean and smells fresh. The people working there are super friendly. They serve a great breakfast that's different every day, and the kitchen has everything you need. I had exceptional massage by Alejandra, and it was amazing—she knows what she's doing. All in all, it's a very satisfying and special place to be; I had a great time and experience.

Breakfast was very good, there were a lot of options to choose from (meditation, yoga, laundry) and all the main attractions were within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and the room was great. Although the bed was a little hard, we still slept fine and I'd stay here again anytime. In fact, if I visit Antigua again, I'd definitely book this stay again and I usually like to try new things. Very very worth the price!

Staying here under Ale and Adam’s hospitality was the best thing I did in Guatemala! They make me feel like family during my time here, with traditional meals on Sundays cooked by the lovely Claudia, crocheting lessons, and an invitation to make a very special carpet with Ale’s family for the Santa Ana Lent procession. The walk into town through Santa Ana is also really pretty and worthwhile. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here as opposed to in town to get away from the busy streets of Antigua. The facilities and experience you get surpasses anything available in the town centre. Thank you Ale and Adam for all your warmth and kindness! Miss you guys!

I really loved staying in this beautiful hostel! The owners are so nice and helpful, I immediately felt at home :) I participated in a few activities (womens circle, breathwork) they organized and l'm very greatful for it.. Its a 30min walk (in a very safe area) to the city center, so that means its really quiet and peaceful. I was looking for tranquility and a place to come closer to myself and found it here, so I totally recommend it to everyone :)

The most cleanest accommodation so far in my mounths of travelling so far. I but far from center 3o min walking but Uber optinal for 25 Q but busses running every 5min to center price 3Q in one direction. Very good breakfast option normal /vegan /vegetarian for optional small amount adition of money. Kitchen well equipment with everything you need. Coffee. Tea,Purified water free of charge all the time. Very nice rooftop view. Definitely recommend it and definitely coming back here efter volcanos and semuc Champey adventures🙏

Ale and Adam were perfect hosts that made Vihara feel like home, I ended up extending my stay!! A beautiful, clean and peaceful hostel in a grand old building just a 25 minute walk outside of central Antigua. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, plus there are spaces to do yoga, work and chill including a yoga studio and gym. Not forgetting the breakfast is nothing less than delicious and generous! LOVED my stay 🙏🏽✨️ Tips: bring a jacket or something warm, the mountains can get chilly at night! Also Santa Ana is a beautiful little Pueblo to enjoy more authentic Guatemalan culture. And there is a local bus that runs from the hostel into antigua a couple times per hour.
