We had no issues with communication with the host. He sent us a very clear video and information, and I found him to be helpful and attentive. Since we arrived early, we went to a cafe near the marina, and he brought the key to us there. The location of the house is great, very close to the port.

OK Property which is extremely poorly managed Unfortunately, we had a disappointing stay at this property during an 8 night booking in June 2023. Further details are set out below but the key issue was that the air conditioning (AC is even mentioned in the title of the letting!) was not functional in the two bedrooms beside each other, one of which are 11 month old baby was sleeping in. We understand that these things sometimes happen and we reported the issue on arrival, hoping that it would be resolved asap. With the assistance of Google we were able to identify the exact fault and shared all details with the property. The lack of assistance, engagement or understanding we received from the agent during the course of the next 7 days was extremely disappointing. The issue ultimately went unresolved and many of our messages were unresponded to - this can all be evidenced by direct messages with the property on Booking.com and we have raised a formal complaint with Booking.com After following up repeatedly with the agent we received a small number of sporadic WhatsApp messages from differing numbers / people, some of which we do not know if they even represented the agent. On day 6 we were told that a maintenance person would be available but we were given less than one hour’s notice - we responded to say that we not at the property and at the agent’s request provided alternate times but no response was received. We felt like the property was being managed remotely with nobody available in Antibes to actually assist or coordinate with customers - e.g we should not need to take time out of our vacation to explain the issue multiple times to various WhatsApp numbers as this is the role of the letting agent. In terms of the property generally, it was as described - it has good space and light and is well equipped.
