Overview
Located in the picturesque village of Anthisnes, Château de la Chapelle offers accommodation with outdoor swimming pool, tennis court and garden. Château de la Chapelle has 9 rooms in the castle and 10 tents in the garden (only available during the Summer) with free WiFi and other amenities to make your stay luxurious. The castle features an open-air restaurant. Our chef is Kwinten Albertijn but during the Summer the open-air restaurant is curated by a Michelin-star chef. It also features a pool bar, wine cellar and 13th century chapel. The property is 22 km from Liège and 25km from Durbuy. Liège Airport is the nearest airport, 15 km from the property.

The estate itself is full of character with high ceilings, creaking wooden floors, and beautiful views over the green valley and the swimming pool. The staff are warm and attentive in that understated Belgian way, making you feel welcome.

“Beautiful chateau in peaceful location”
The chateau is really beautiful and in a peaceful location. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are really nice and it was great to have the option of the tennis court even though we didn’t use it. The staff are all welcoming. The whole place has a wonderful relaxed feeling. The toiletries were really nice

Everything from all of the staff there, the lovely Château, the grounds & location Dining there is a 5 star plus, alfresco 6 course meal was a culinary delight as so was breakfast, lovely swimming pool, sauna, hot tubs tennis court the lot A lovely historic Château which is being kept alive as it should be!

“Wonderful team, very relaxing”
Wonderful chateau with a very welcoming and warm team. Thomas and chef were very hospitable, helped us feel comfortable and as a bonus showed us around the grounds of the Château. A beautifully restored building with an interesting history. Rooms are comfortable and newly refurbished. It feels like you're staying in a piece of history. The wine collection is also excellent and Thomas is great at suggesting options - a must try. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to unwind and relax with an excellent team at hand!

The dinner was exceptional, with a 7-course menu and matching wines. The bar is very cosy and pleasant. Beautiful, quiet surroundings. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Possibility of taking a short walk in the hotel grounds. The hotel is just 20km from the Château de Modave, which is worth a visit (unfortunately it was closed during our stay).

Beautiful scenery, at night cool lights behind the chateau. Inside is thought through, cool modern design touches, yet authentic altogether. It’s nice that some things are not renewed but left as it is. Dinner was exetionally good!

“We enjoyed our one niggt stay very much and will be back for at least long weekend.”
Lovely property in the middle of Ardenes, a 13th century castle settlement, with original Chappell, set truly in midst of the Ardens nature, quiet, relaxing atmosphere, supported by the owners and especially appreciated warm family lime atmosphere harness by Irina, the owner, with with her warm and friendly and fun approach makes the stay really pleasant and memorable. No fuss, but kindness and friendliness. We stayed in the main dwelling, room accessed via an ancient historical tower staircase, with views both to the courtyard from tue bathroom and also to tue gardens with pool views over tue valley. Bedroom floods with sun in the morning, and the bathroom was equipped to good modern standard and quality. We also enjoyed a tremendous breakfast, Irina laid out a magnificent spread - buffet style, european goodies, supplemented also by dutch specialities, fresh fruit and plenty of tea choices and as much coffee as one needs ;), Irina offered to make also omelet, scrambled eggs or eggs sunny side up and man she did them so well. The property has amazing lounge, billiard room, library, and so many places to choose from outside all around tue property. We did not have a chance to try the pool, tennis court or various hot baths, due time and our short stay. We did manage to ask Irina to show us down the wine cellar, and what a cellar! Ready for tastings... the vines were truly varied, and we look forward to be able to stay again soon, when back to the area.
