It was a beautiful location and the family was very helpful, kind and patient. I would highly recommend the place to others. There was a little waterfall that you could see from the house and it was nestled in a valley with surrounding mountains.

We chose this place because it was comparatively good value with late availability, but we ended up feeling so glad to have discovered this gem. The accommodation is slightly out of the village (Antholz Mittertal) - about 30 to 40 mins walk - which means it feels very quiet and rural, with beautiful views of the mountains on both sides, and of the more distant mountain ranges up and down the valley. It is very near some of the hiking trails which is handy. There is ample parking and it is also near a bus stop. Accommodation is on a family-run dairy farm that has been in the family for over 200 years - it really felt like a privilege to get to be part of this incredible mountain history for a few nights. The family who host are warm and kind, and provided us with very useful tourist information such as a hiking map marked up with highlights and places to eat. Julian - the son - speaks very good English and helped us get oriented and settled. We stayed in the one bedroom downstairs flat - it is simple but comfortable. The pictures are accurate. Bring your own soap, shampoo, oil, salt, pepper etc. There is washing up liquid provided, as well as plenty of pots, pans, crockery etc and the fridge, small freezer, grill and electric hobs all work well (there is an oven too but we didnt use it). Although it is not huge, it felt spacious for two adults and a dog, and we enjoyed hanging out at the flat and making use of the outdoor patio in the sun, as well as exploring the incredibly beautiful adventure-filled valley around the farm. The bed/pillows/duvet are not luxury (we used our own pillows) but that's not what you come here for - come for the wonderful family, the beautiful views, and the amazing location. It was hot when we were there but there were plenty of radiators and I think it would be cosy in cold weather. The windows open and let in fresh air which is lovely during the day, we tended to keep them closed to keep bugs out in the evening.

“I recommend this accommodation”
we really liked the location. It was also close to the places we wanted to see. the only minus is that the bed in the bedroom creaks, and if you are sensitive to sleep, that can be a bit of a problem. the host is very kind and helped us with everything we needed we took the mountain view house, and it was a great choice - every morning we drank coffee on the terrace, admiring the view
