Time travel back to the 1500’s with running water and electricity. Hosts were both excellent with a free tour thrown in along with an exceptional breakfast. Would not be ideal for someone with limited mobility as the stairs could be challenging but if you can you must visit.

I loved the history of the castle and the exceptional way it was restored. Also amazed for such an old building that it was really cosy and warm,great aircon.Curro the manager, was so welcoming and informative. He responded immediately to our texts and gave us very clear instructions on directions. Also we appreciated a fridge and microwave in the room.Breakfast was fabulous fresh bread, fruit and wonderful homemade jams.We were able to buy the jams as a lovely memory 😋.

It's adventurous. And our host did everything to please and allow us a great experience.

“Unique & quirky stay in a castle! King & Queen for the night!”

Quirky & unique stay in the castle. A bit different to your usual overnight stay! Very rural, quiet location (though it was a very very windy night, so noisier than we expected it is January) room was cosy & warm, had a small kitchen we were able to cook dinner from, very useful, worth knowing & coming prepared as village has little in the way of eateries! Loved the armoury room tour & the view from top of the tower. Added bonus of Epiphany celebrations & a windfall of sweeties! Lovely breakfast with a specially made bread due to festival of three kings, owners extra thoughtful gesture, dogs were also most welcome, with their own Jamon for breakfast.

“A unique and interesting, historic accommodation with excellent, individual service”

If you're expecting a corporate room in a hotel chain, this isn't the place. It is unique and interesting accommodation in a restored castle in a tiny, beautifully located village. The room was heated and comfortable. The manager was extremely helpful, directing us into the castle by text and giving us an individual service. We will try and stay there again and would recommend this hotel.

Amazing stay in a castle on top of a hill. The owner showed us suits of armour in the the Armoury Room. Very spacious with 2 double beds in 2 rooms Access to cooking facilities

Location was lovely. The hosts were delightful and our care seemed to be their priority. From a watts app on directions to the village parking to finding and reserving dinner in the village on our behalf. We are non Spanish speakers and Sunday night they arranged the bar to open for us. A free guided tour around the castle and church offered to all guests.Breakfast very good and local info willingly offered.

“Charming castle stay with delightful host”

Everything! Staying the night in the castle ‘jail’ - we were given this amazing double room which actually had 2 double beds due to a cancellation. The beautiful location, the wonderful home made bread for breakfast, the kindness shown to us and our dog, the informative and very funny castle tour.

Beautiful room in an authentic Spanish castle. Totally uncommercial village. Be sure to bring provisions for your stay as village is very small. There are two ways into village. We went the hard way, up through the narrow lanes. Apologies to the residents of the village.

Amazing castle, great room and loads of history of local area. Curro obviously loves his job and gave us a tour of the castle which he seems so proud of. Our room was very comfortable with lots of original castle features including an original jail door! Lots of facilities including a kitchen and relaxing lounge. Been travelling for years through France and Spain and this was the best accommodation we have ever found. Excellent breakfast too. Thanks to Curro for making our stay so special.

Very comfortable, friendly and helpful Beautiful location

Little bit difficult to find, streets are so narrow,,but Curro , the owner of this established, exely his wife, came with her car and guided us to the castle. As said the welcome was great and after long drive curro walked to the local snack bar and picked up some food. Then he offered a glas local wine and that was so good I asked him to sell me 3 bottles. We like a great thank you to this excellent couple whom know what is the meaning of the wording, the extra mile in service. Thank you again and warm regards from Terry and Alejandro.
