Pleasantly quiet location in attractive Annweiler, surrounded by the Pfälz forest. Good breakfast choices and excellent restaurant with an Italian dimension. Reasonably large and adequately equipped bedroom with practical bathroom.

“Convenient”
I very much enjoyed the food in the restaurant. The location of the hotel was excellent especially for people walking the Weinsteig trail since it passes directly in front of the door.

“Useful stopover on a return trip to Uk: six hours drive to Calais”
Good quality accommodation in this converted water mill, with the enclosed moving water wheel the feature of the restaurant. Excellent Italian food in the restaurant and a very good breakfast buffet.

Both the dinner and the breakfast were excellent, very tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room extremely comfortable, with all the facilities that you would need.
