Overview
Set just off the banks of Lake Annecy, this hotel is 1.5 km from the centre of town. The rooms at Hôtel Catalpa include an LCD TV with satellite channels. They also provide free toiletries in the en-suite bathroom. You can enjoy the continental breakfast in your guest room or in the hotel’s dining room. You can also park your car in the hotel’s private parking with an extra cost and upon prior reservation. Annecy Casino is 300 meters away, and a public beach is 300 metres away from the property. “Lovely hotel, excellent restaurant, don’t get the attic room.”
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we liked the location slightly out of the main part of town and very close to a place we could swim in the lake. The breakfast was excellent and good value and the restaurant was high quality.

“Greater than our expectations”
Everyone was extremely helpful and kind. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location was ideal because it has a bus stop right next to the hotel and if you want to walk to the centre,the path by the lake was beautiful.

really quiet location next to the lake-only 20 minutes by foot from the old city center snd the nearest parking.Easy check-in/check out and friendly personel.

“Perfect Location for Lake Lovers”
Excellent location near the Lake. CITY centre is 10-15 mins walking distance. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very well serviced and organised. I was super happy that the toilet is separated from the bathroom. We arrived quite late and after a long day of driving, and were welcomed warmly. We visited during the off-peak season so the Public Parking across the hotel was free. Breakfast is selective but good options are available. Do try the marmalade. In general we enjoyed our stay and would visit again if we are in Annecy.
