“Lark and Loon Cornwallis trip”

It was a very lovely place to spend time. There are so many interesting things that made it a very homey experience. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The common areas had a lot of books and other things to do, including board games.

The place was easy to find and park. It was about a 10 min walk to the small historic centre. The property inside is immaculate, set up like a Victorian/ Edwardian film set. Our room was large with a great bathroom and decent bed. The area was wonderfully quiet. You are greeted by the very attentive host who is happy to answer any questions about the property and area.

It is a beautiful old house with attractive furnishings and comfortable beds. The breakfast was a communal experience which allowed for very pleasant conversation with the other guests.

This is a beautiful house and full of amazing artefacts, memorabilia and beautiful pottery which was made by the host Kevin. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated and has all amenities required for an enjoyable stay and is only a short walk to the center of town. Kevin and Lesley make you feel right at home and almost part of the family and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. They provide a delicious breakfast, all homemade and even share their family recipes with you. Breakfast time is very enjoyable and not rushed as Kevin and Lesley take time to engage with all the guests and the conversation flows. Kevin is very knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area and with recommendations for thing to do all over Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lark and Loon.

Kevin and Lesley are extremely welcoming hosts and their home is a fascinating mix of charm and style. They are very attentive and will go the extra mile to ensure your stay is catered to meet your exacting needs.

The breakfast was amazing. Home made breads and biscuits to parfaits and frittatas and of course fresh coffee, all made by Kevin and Lesley in their kitchen and served to the guests in the beautiful dining room making sure we all went on our travels with a full stomach.. What a gorgeous home. The rooms were very warm and inviting. Tastefully decorated. bright and airy. I

Awesome homemade breakfast, on beautiful old china, and great conversation about possible places to explore on our way up the Annapolis Valley (some hidden gems!) They told us it was similar to Bay of Fundy but much less crowded! Awe inspiring!

The breakfast was very good and freshly cooked. On the day we were there we had fresh fruit salad, orange juice, frittata with broccoli, mushrooms, peppers and cheese. We had a choice of tea or coffee. The menu varies daily from what we were told. The hosts, Kevin & Lesley, were very welcoming and went out of their way to provide a lot of useful information about Annapolis Royal and places to visit during your stay. They communicated well with us by email prior to our arrival. Our bedroom was very spacious and we had a very comfortable bed. It was nice and quiet and in a good location, only a short walk away from the river and boardwalk which made for a nice evening stroll.

The Lark and Loon is a beautiful older property, exquisitely decorated and with many interesting artefacts, many made by the hosts. The hosts provide a friendly welcome, delicious breakfasts and many interesting facts about Annapolis Royal and surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay with them, and it was pleasant to spend the latter part of the evening in the sitting room, reading and listening to music. We highly recommend a stay here.

The Lark & Loon is an excellent inn all round. Both hosts were very friendly, and had exceptional knowledge of the immediate area and beyond. The premises are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts got the day off to a good start.

We really enjoyed our stay at this magnificent home. Our hosts were welcoming and gave us many good tips for our tour of Nova Scotia.

It is a real "experience" to stay in a Victorian era home, but with facilities fully moderized. Great location and attentive hosts full of interesting information and detailed advice. Many books and collectables to explore in the living and sitting rooms. Bed and bathroom were great. Fabulous breakfast.
