“Relaxation holiday”
The interior of the hotel is relaxing, fancy and well designed. Only the rooms could be little more updated, seems for me little old school. Of course I get the posh vibe. The spa and wellness area is really well planned, we enjoyed that a lot.

“A beautiful hotel on the fjord”
A beautiful hotel on the fjord. Amazing views and comfortable lounges to sit in and take in the scenery. The set 3-course evening meal was delicious - although we found 8.00 pm quite a late time to eat.

“Very nice .. just needs a bit of a glow up”
Charming historic hotel on a private waterfront perch off the beaten path .. Really lovely onsite restaurant with 5 course dinner option with wine pairings that we really enjoyed .. Breakfast was simple but nice and the staff are all young, local and try super hard and are very sweet .. The suite of rooms we had were very very spacious and the bed was super comfortable

Beautiful location on the banks of the Tingvollfjord. Everything about this hotel was fabulous and it is definitely in my top 3 hotels out of the 30 I stayed at during my 5 week trip around Norway (actually stayed twice)! Amazing food, particularly the tasting menu dinner. Cozy lounges with real fires and amazing views of the fjord / surrounding mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back!

Everything. We received very good suggestions from a very professional and friendly person in reception. The spa is very enjoyable. Good to be very cautious with not slipping on floor though. It is a bit slippery. The beds were very comfortable. The size of rooms was good.
