The hostel was in a cracking location above a superb cafe and near a supermarket. We were very comfortable and the shared kitchen was really useful. Would recommend.

“Great place to stay and affordable”

Excellent location, clean room and maintained often as clean. Square view. As it is a cafe also you have many options in case of a craving 😜. The cafe is cheap and fast, however, I found it average. The room was comfortable and the toilet almost the same. Provided one shampoo. At the time of staying it was an affordable option.

Best place to stay on the island, comfy, well located and has all you need for your stay. There is a lovely café downstairs. The Staff and the Owner were very welcoming and helpful.

It is next to the old square and convenient for travel. In addition, the coffee bar downstairs is very good.

“Awesome place in a beautiful city”

Alianca Hostel is a really nice place to stay. We’ve booked a private room because it was not that more expensive than a dormitory. I would advise to bring ear plugs anyway because you can hear the street even though it’s quite calm at night. People are so lovely and arranging and the cafe under is so good. I would definitely recommend to have a pudim because it tastes so good. The kitchen is also well stuffed so you can cook your own meal. And also I really appreciated that there were coffees, teas and biscuits for the guests. The hostel has a great location nearby supermarkets, monte Brasil, taxi station, bus stops and points of interests of Angra Do Heroismo.

“Great hostel”

Great value, especially for the price. We had everything we needed (maybe a coffee machine would be a good addition, but there's a good cafe at the ground floor). Everything was clean and functional, and the location was also very central. Recommended!

The location is great, centre of down town Angra de Heroismo. ATM, pharmacy, shops, whale/dolphin watching and sea activities close by. Friendly staff, good and popular snack bar downstairs.

The location is really great. Close to everything, I was able to walk around to everywhere. There is a cafe downstairs that you can reach out to if you are checking in late. The staff was really friendly.

“Excellent solo stay in the centre of Angra!”

Location was excellent, could walk to everything in Angra including Monte Brasil. Room was excellent - wifi was strong, private bathroom was great, comfortable room, space used well, individual AC, and great view of the main square. Kitchen and extra bathroom facilities were great. Staff was friendly and helpful.
