The staff was extremely friendly. Their replies to my emails were quick and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast beat all my expectations. The hotel is close to the city center and the railway station.

This was a part of a Christmas-gift for my son who vas visiting me at Christmas. He and his family have visited Riverside several times and have been very satisfied with everything. But this time there was som missing with the cleaning of the room. Patric Nordenman has talked to the stuff and cleared out everingthing and was offering some upgrade next time he is coming. But for me it was sad as it was connected to his Christmas-gift. Somethime things went wrong....... Wish you a Happy New Year. MARGARETA SUNDSTRÖM

The hotel did not send the SMS with the check-in instruction nor did they make contact as per the info on the booking confirmation and on the booking.com app. Trying to call the hotel repeatedly from 9 PM, they do not answer. Manager responds the day after by saying at 9 PM he was sleeping and cannot help guests with checking in, and that the check-in contractually must take place between 3-6 PM, or it is a no-show that requires payment. The hotell has always sent text messages with check-in information over the ten years I've stayed there, but from other reviews and the manager's apperance, and attitude about enabling his guests to access the hotel, the hotel might be in some type of difficulty, why HUS 57 located on the same street and cost SEK 200 more if one becomes a Best Western member (free) has better value for money with far superior rooms/breakfast and a 24h reception.

Okay standard, perhaps a little pricey considering it felt more like a hostel than a hotel but I guess that was because of the central location.

Great single room, a good shower, and breakfast. Management was fantastic at check-in and cooking facilities. I was able to use that night.

“Great place to stay, we loved it!”

We stayed in one of the studioappartments and it was absolutely great! Very clean and fresh appartment, modern and with a big bathroom and comfortable shower. We felt very welcome on arrival and were give great tips by the landlord and lady. Location was great for us: in the center of a bubbly but not busy town with bars and supermarket around the corner. Parking was available very close to the appartments at 80 crowns per 24 hours. We absolutely loved our stay in Riverside, thank you! We travelled through Norway and Sweden for 4 weeks and stayed in many hotels and cabins. n.b Absolutely plus in Riverside: a fan in the room and a squeeky clean white showercurtain!!

It was boiling hot inside the room and we only had a very small fan to help us out. The kitchen sponges were used (for previous guests I assumed) I found someone else's hair in the shower drain.

Microwawe didnt work , but everything else was nice .
