“Unique and outstanding hotel excellent with personal touch.”
A wonderful unique hotel offering you everything you need and more. Great attentive staff, excellent buffet continental breakfasts cold meats, cheeses, pate and sweet fruits and pastries. Great location just off historic centre. Amazing art and pictures adorn the central hotel areas give a exhibition vibe.

Authentic Spanish building beautifully converted. Everything was wonderful. The hotel had no restaurant or bar, but was located in the heart of the town with plenty of choice for drinks and dining.

Nice and beautifully decorated hotel. Hotel staff was great, we were really feel welcomed although we arrived late. I really like the room decor and the bonus part is the bidet in the toilet. Also the parking is the main bonus.

“Great hotel in a lovely area not often explored by British tourists but well worth the effort.”
Really lovely conversion into a hotel. Decor and paintings create a great classy effect. Room was well appointed and clean. Very interesting history of Il refugio which staff kindly showed us round. Breakfast gives good choice in a super dining room. Staff helpful and pleasant. Parking conveniently over the road 30 metres away underground.

Easily the best hotel you can stay at ! The staff is amongst the best I’ve seen anywhere, the restoration is simply gorgeous .. it even has a parking !!
