“Heaven - I'm glad we stayed 3 nights”

Our bungalow was great. The food was excellent and top quality!!! I have never walked on such a beautiful beach to the neighboring village in my life. You see countless large shells, without people. I would definitely come again, I recommend at least for a few days (it is useless for one night, because the path is really tiring).

“Amazing place to stay”

If you're going to the tiny town of Andavadoaka, which is very remote and hard to reach, then this is an amazing place to stay. It's a beautiful location right next to the sea, with an amazing view of beautiful clear blue water and cool rocks in them. The Italian hosts were super friendly and really made my stay great. The bungalow was fantastic. I had not expected much so far away from civilization, but it was fantastic. Bonus points for the 'outdoor bathroom' that the cottage had, I thought this was a really cool experience. The food was also really great and delicous. There is fresh fish that they catch right here in the sea if thats your thing, so thats amazing. They were super accommodating, making a delicious breakfast package because I had to leave before breakfast started, very grateful for it. You can even pay by card, which made things very easy for me. Don't forget to visit the incredible Foret of the Baobab, its very close by. Highly recommend Laguna Blu

“Amazing place with amazing food and staff.”

Ambience, food, location, staff were all simply perfect! Rooms were clean, wifi was available everywhere, food was amazing. The owners and chef were always smiley and ready to help. The buffet was incredible as well as the views. The star-fish watching activity we did was also very interesting.

“This is the PARADISE!”

The location is absolutely beautiful, super peaceful, and the atmosphere of the resort is unique — it truly feels like being in paradise. The resort itself is stunning, and you immediately notice the attention to detail. Manuela’s passion for seashells decorates the entire place — such a small touch, but one I really loved. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were AMAZING — honestly the best we had in Madagascar, thanks to Ernesto, a truly talented chef! I enjoyed fantastic dishes, both from the buffet and from the fresh seafood dinners in the evening. We also joined a pirogue excursion with two wonderful local guides, went snorkeling, and visited the small island right in front of the resort. It was simply wonderful! I highly recommend everything here. The rooms are spotless, and I absolutely loved the outdoor shower. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly too — we even managed to do some smart working one afternoon from the outdoor restaurant area without any problems. Everything was just perfect! The staff and collaborators were all amazing, and the Italian owners are two genuinely lovely people. Thank you again for making us feel at home. And after 15 days of zebu and rice (which are great, nothing against them!), we were so happy to finally enjoy excellent fresh fish. And the prices? Extremely fair for dinners of this quality! Did I forget something? Maybe — but I think you get the idea. Thank you again! We’ll definitely come back to relax and enjoy more of Ernesto’s wonderful food and Manuela’s company!

“Amazing place with a big heart”

What happens when you mix deserted beautiful beaches, forests of magestical baobab all for yourself (forget morondava), an unspoiled island reachable by sail powered pirogas, clean and comfortable Bungalow facing the sunset, and a top class professional Italian chef? That is what you get at laguna blu. Add the caring, kindness and service which only an experienced couple of owners can provide, and you get truly to paradise. 10/10 just because we can't give more stars!

Peaceful in the hotel

“Nice resort.”

The resort is on a cliffwith a nice view. Unfortunately the day we were there it was very windy. We left one day early and Manuela was very flexible to cancel our reservation for one day.

The place was even more beautiful than on the pictures. Amazing. The hospitality and friendiness from all the staff and Ernesto's cooking were outstanding. Couldn't be happier about our choice where to stay on the west coast. I hope to come back again!

“Great food and hospitality!”

Excellent fresh fish dishes prepared daily by an experienced chef, but vegetarian options are also available! Staff members were friendly and helpful. If you want a peaceful break from your daily routine - surrounded by pristine beaches and natural beauty - this is the place. I would also suggest that you plan a stay of several days rather than just one or two nights!

A beautiful property on a wonderful beach in an amazing location. The whole place is fantastic. Lovely bungalow with great outdoor shower, hot water & comfortable beds. The staff are amazing & the food is good. Emanuela & her husband have created a very special place. I highly recommend a few days relaxation here.

“An incredible experience that we will always cherish!”

Everything! This was one of our favorite properties in Madagascar! The location, the room, the staff and that amazing food! we only wished we could have stayed here longer and we hope to be back someday!

We stayed at Laguna Blu for our honeymoon. The bungalows are beautifully located and have direct sea view. The Italian owners cook fresh every day, very tasty and also safe for European stomachs. The Pasta Frutti Di Mare was by far the best of my life! Absolutely recommend!

“If you are low on cash, you can pay with credit card, otherwise you’ll be beter off at any other lodge on the west coast”

The food was very good, the view from the restaurant is impressive and there is a very nice warm shower.
