People are nice enough but this place is way overpriced for what is offered, which is basically a glorified camping experience. Staff disappears lunchtime not to be seen again. Everything is a huge effort. Shame because location is nice but place is now looking & feeling very tired indeed.

“Rustic place - not too much care given - hard to access”
Wasn’t really my kind of place. It’s very rustic. Lots of greenery so if you prefer nature over mod cons you might like it. The dogs are big but cute and friendly. Very laid back place. Their restaurant in town is probably the second best place to eat in the area. The old plantation restaurant was the best place I have eaten in Phillioines by a country mile. Check it out.

“A really special place 🌺”
The Jungle Hut room was immaculate; clean, excellent quality and so well designed. The balcony was super peaceful looking into the trees. The room is really spacious and well built from the flooring, the furniture, to the quality of the bed, lighting, bathroom. Top notch. I slept so well there! The setting is incredible - truly in the jungle on the cliff overlooking the sea. There are stairs to go to the water for swimming and snorkeling. It’s beautiful! Breakfast was great with quality bread (not sweet white sliced bread) French press coffee and milk (not powdered cream) and eggs cooked perfectly and yummy fried potatoes. When I spoke with Sherri (spelling?) Kim’s wife I learned a bit about her farm, how the typhoon affected them and building of their hotel. I really like her outlook on life and talking to her was a pleasure.

“The hidden paradise in Anda”
A hidden little paradise in Anda. Run by two super nice, helpful owners who spare no effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Paradise on earth for dog lovers. The associated small bay ensures swimming fun and the perfect starry sky over Anda. A great overall package for adventurers seeking peace and quiet. Any time again.

“Worth making this hotel the sole destination of your Phillipine trip”
This is our second time here, and this time, we basically visited the Philippines only to spend time in this hotel. This place is like a kid's time dream is coming to real life. A lot of friendly big dogs, stairway to one of the most clear blue oceans you would ever see in the world, and a cottage by the cliff overlooking the ocean. ( And there are always cold beers in your personal fridge lol ) It is called Kim's Garden, but it is Kim's ( and his wife 's ) dream coming to real life. I have been to so many countries and many places, but I can't think of even one place that is free minded and dreamy like this.

“Lost in the jungle”
Kim's Garden (it's more of a jungle!) is a proper hidden gem on the quieter side of Bohol, not far from Anda. We were lucky to be in one of the 4 very private bungalows that had a breathtaking sea view. The bungalow was clean and its overall design is also really cool, making one with the trees and natural rock formations. There is a short path leading from the garden to the ocean, with a platform and a hammock to watch the amazing sunset. We had a really smooth arrival and Kim was kind enough to drive us in his sidecar to Anda (with his inseparable dogs) occasionally. His wife keeps a restaurant in town “The Hangover” - which has amazing food (cool tip: there is an alligator fish in the pond, so don’t lean over it too much). The hosts Kim and his wife Shari are really accommodating and interesting people (I would have a beer with Kim if you get the chance). They live with their little animal family onsite, so you’ll have to be comfortable around animals, but hey, you’re in the jungle after all! So be ready to be greeted by a few dogs when walking around. Some are big, some are small, but they are all friendly, and that's coming from a cat person. Kim also keeps a few more exotic creatures (some parrots and a very chill python). We also ran into a few insects and lizards outside the bungalow, but remember you're IN a mini jungle! For the less adventurous travellers, the dirt road from the main road to Kim's Garden is a...dirt road. So bear that in mind if you're coming by car or by scooter, it's completely doable though. We walked a few times from the lodge (10mn) to grab a tuktuk on the main road, Kim can arrange a driver otherwise. If you had to remember one thing...Kim and Shari have created a little Eden jungle here in Anda. It's not for everyone and that's absolutely why we loved every bit of it.

What can we say? Sometimes it’s hard to find the right words. Our stay in Kim’s garden was simply amazing. The hosts are kind and smiling. The first night we arrived Kim brought us to his wife’s restaurant and we could taste amazing food. They rented us a motorbike and borrowed us snorkelling masks and fins. We saw 8 turtles in just an hour swimming just few metres from Kim’s house. His wife cooked us amazing breakfasts every morning at eight and waited for us when we were a little bit late. The house was very clean and we could sleep under the rain with the sounds of wild animals. You can have a hot shower and refill your bottle whenever you want with good water. The owners have a lot of cute dogs they really love. They are good dogs, so they will not hurt you but just cuddle you. They also booked for us a car to take us to chocolate hills before the departure. This is a place you will love if you love nature. You will live in a little jungle paradise in Anda, far from the mass tourism. You will have your own access to the ocean. What else? Just try it if you want to really enjoy your stay in Bohol. “Lovely place set in a jungle located on the sea.”
The location is amazing, great view from our room, and the water crystal clear and clean, the room was basic but did cater for our needs, the owners Kim and Shari and their staff are wonderfully accommodating people and their 3 dogs were a delight, the gardens are beautiful with meandering paths throughout, would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in Bohol.

Wonderful place, basic cottages in a jungle next to the ocean. This is a very relaxing place where you are literally in the jungle and where you can hear and see the birds, butterflies, crabs and other critters. Friendly owners that will help you the best they can to make the most out of your stay. Away from the horn sounds of traffic. Direct access to the ocean for a swim or some kayakking.
