Beautiful resort and friendly staff

We stayed there only 1 night. The whole place looks like a ghost town (as do all the area from Williams lake to Bella coola. This resort has planty of potential but it seems like his good days are over. The main loby if high fashion decorated, with white maps and extravagant chandalir. But the food is average at best. I ate a very dried salmo next to some blanted vegetables and my son had Ribs that knew better days. The price unfortunately .Match the decoration not the food. The room was of very simple motel level with old towels and a little one small bottle of shampoo for both of us with no soap or conditioner. But all this I can understand since there are almost no tourists there and manny places so we told struggle. But the owners attitude could be nicer, warmer, hospitable and patient This is something early can be changed.

Really friendly owners. Unique accomadation, very comfortable bed. Wonderful views of the lake from our room and the gardens. Freshly prepared dinner and breakfast if you wish to have this. We had both, and it was really good. The room had a kettle and fridge.

Lovely old world charm with wonderful hosts. The food was great: breakfast, lunch bags and 3 course dinner at reasonable prices, even had free canoes and advice & maps for trails. Would definitely stay there again

“A unique place to make a stopover near a lake on Highway 20”

Eagle's Nest is a small resort, situated at the shore of a small lake adjacent to a forest in the inland plateau just before/after the sporty part of Highway 20. Even if it might apear somehow old fashioned, the resort is in a good shape and well managed by Tim and his wife, who does a very good kitchen (both breakfast and dinner were perfect). Both are very professional and committed old school hosts who turn your stay into an unforgettable "souvenir".

Lovely location

Anahim Lake is like a little piece of heaven on earth. The resort is so perfectly located. The service was exceptional and our stay was divine. The rooms are simple but very comfortable with everything that you need. Nothing could beat having a coffee and listening to the birds on the dock as the mist lifts off the lake.

The location was beautiful. There were areas of the room not cleaned from the customer before us. The food was attractively served but could have been more flavorful

The dinner we had, in the lovely dining room, overlooking the lake, was excellent. The service and food were far above expectations. The breakfast was also excellent.

Comfortable room, with sitting area and a screened in balcony. Bed was comfortable. Host was very helpful and provided information about local things to do. We were the only guests, but they still provided great dinners for both nights we were there (extra cost) in the very fine dinning room. Very nice location on the lake.

This place has very peaceful atmosphere, feels almost magical. Rooms have view on a picteresque lake, and are located within few meters from the water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

Beautiful, remote location right on the lake. Decor was a fun, eclectic style. The food was great, and the service was beautifully formal and elegant. The room had lots of hot water, bed was really comfy, bar fridge in room, and everything we needed to feel welcome and comfortable. It was wonderful to have a touch of civilization in a stunning wilderness setting - the best of both worlds!
