“A slice of Paradise”

From the moment we were picked up from the airport and shown around the local area, we felt very spoilt. Our bungalow was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more! The delicious fruit basket kept us going for days and having 8 L of filtered water was most helpful. This bungalow is very private with your own stretch of beach in front, where very few people even walk past , yet it was less than a 10 minute walk to the main hotels. Unlike some of the other accommodations in Aitutaki, this bungalow is not right next to the other bungalow, which makes for a very peaceful stay. We're so glad we chose Tai Marino and can highly recommend it to others.

“AMAZING!”

Tai Marino is honestly a slice of heaven! Vaea and Kii are exceptional hosts, everything that we needed was provided and communication was excellent. Airport transfers were amazing and easy and Vaea also organised scooters for us that were ready and waiting when we arrived. The free wifi and air conditioning was such a bonus! The swimming spot directly out the front of the bungalow was so good and we absolutely loved the outdoor shower. Walking into town along the beach - breathtaking! The yard is so clean and tidy with an onsite gardener who attends regularly, keeping the place looking impecable. The entry point for walking up to Mt Maungapu (the highest point in Aitutaki - so you get a fantastic 360 degree view of the island and lagoon) is directly opposite the bungalow, so a lovely walk to start the day! We cant wait to return to Tai Marino.

It was spacious and had everything you needed. There was fruit on arrival and I was given a beautiful flower lei . Very private and quiet. Vaea was there to meet me and instantly made me feel at home .

Vaea and Marokii are lovely hosts. Their bungalows and their treatment deserves a 12/10. Keep up the good work you two. If we ever come back to Aitutaki, we definitely want to stay there again. We also recommend doing the lagoon trip with Marokii and getting the scooter, there is quite a lot to see. So enjoy your time on the island, it is simply stunning.

“A Truly Unforgettable Experience – Our Highlight in the Cook Islands”

Staying at Tai Marino Beach Bungalows was an absolutely incredible experience and the highlight of our entire trip to the Cook Islands. From the moment we booked, communication with our hosts Vaea and Marokii was smooth, warm, and helpful. Vaea insisted on greeting us at the airport, even though we had rented a car, just to personally welcome us, show us around the village, and share all the local tips we needed to start feeling at home. Their hospitality throughout our stay was simply exceptional. Always available and genuinely kind, they provided great recommendations for places to eat, things to do, and how to experience Aitutaki like a local. The bungalow itself was perfect, spotlessly clean, newly built, and equipped with everything you might need, including ultra-fast Starlink internet. The location is unbeatable: right on a pristine, quiet beach on the sunset side of the island. Two private loungers and a canoe were waiting for us outside, and we spent every evening walking for hours along the untouched shoreline as the sun set over the ocean. It truly felt like paradise. We also took a private lagoon tour with Marokii on his boat, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve had anywhere in the world, despite the weather not being the best. The scenery, snorkeling, and the visit to Honeymoon Island and One Foot Island were breathtaking. It felt like we were in a dream. We can’t recommend Tai Marino Beach Bungalows enough and we will certainly be back. Vaea and Marokii, thank you so much for everything—you made our trip magical.#taimarinobeachbubgalows

We love our stay so much. The hosts are some of the most beautiful people you will meet. The boat trip was a highlight for us.... perfect location and they have thought of everything you need.

“Awesome Paradise in Aitutaki Hard to beat”

From the initial booking to the time we left to travel home, communication with Vaea was excellent. The location of the bungalows is fantastic being within walking distance to nearby eateries or a 10 minute bike ride into town. Vaea has motorbikes to rent on site which made things easy and her recommendations for fishing, foiling were spot on. The bungalow is cosy and well appointed. We loved being able to swim easily in front of the bungalow. Highly recommended and no hesitation to return again if we get the chance. Thank you Vaea for a lovely week.

I had the most fantastic stay at Tai Marino Bungalows. It’s right on the beach, it feels so private, the water is beautiful. Everything about the property was lovely, I felt like I was home, very cosy set up. Vaea and Marokii are exceptional hosts. They look after their guests very well. Private lagoon cruise with Marokii, was sensational. The lagoon water, the islands and snorkeling was amazing. Marokii had a gopro camera that I could use under the water, which was great. Renting a scooter bike was the best thing ever too. Thank you for my beautiful stay. I can’t wait to come back 🙌🏼

“Would return tomorrow if I could!”

Quiet little bungalow with lots of privacy right in front of a gorgeous beach where you can watch the sunset every evening. Kayaks and snorkel gear is available, making it very easy to go and explore Aitutaki. The bungalow itself has everything you might need, including kitchenware. The hosts are amazing and the boat tour with Marokii was spectacular- highly recommend it as doing it private allows you greater flexibility.

Simply superb. Fantastic hosts. Well equipped with all mod cons. Location is outstanding, balcony with view onto beach, hammock, sunbeds and kayak all provided for exclusive use.

An incredible villa , location and privacy . Great views of the lagoon, walking the beach. Breakfast on the verandah. Kitchen is small but so well equipped. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is even a first aid and sewing kit . Can’t wait to return Hosts are very friendly and helpful
