“Amazing stay”

We are a couple with two babies, and we absolutely love it here. The rooms are beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, and both the restaurant food and room service are outstanding. The sauna is fantastic — quiet, private, and very relaxing. The location is also perfect. Honestly, there is absolutely nothing we could complain about. We truly love this place and would happily come back anytime.

Our stay at The July Boat & Co. in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The property itself is stunning — beautifully designed, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect if you want to enjoy Amsterdam without being in the middle of the city chaos, while still being just 10–15 minutes away from all the central spots. What truly made the experience special was the warm and welcoming staff. Every interaction felt genuine and thoughtful. The food and drinks were also spot on throughout our stay. Overall, it was a solid 10/10 experience, and I would strongly recommend The July Boat & Co. to anyone looking for a relaxing yet well-connected stay in Amsterdam.

We really enjoyed our stay at The July hotel in Amsterdam. The atmosphere was cozy, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was especially nice — roomy, convenient, and beautifully designed. We also really liked the overall design of the hotel, especially the ceramic tiles, which added a lovely touch. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept peacefully and well. The area around the hotel is very cool and relaxing, with canals and a lovely waterfront promenade nearby. It is a pleasant place to walk around and unwind. The hotel is located a little far from the city center, so I would recommend taking a bus or a taxi to get there — it helps save energy for exploring Amsterdam on foot. The gym was a pleasant surprise too: the equipment was thoughtfully selected, and it had everything needed for a good workout. The spa was also nice — a great place to visit in the evening after long walks around Amsterdam. The restaurant was generally okay, although the seafood pasta did not seem very fresh. That said, it still tasted quite good. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to come back again.

“Comfortable home for a short break”

A very comfortable apartment with lovely views across the harbour. We were fortunate with the weather, and wanted to sightsee, but this was a great space to spend time in. Great book selection provided. Roomy, private bathroom.

The room was superb - all the comforts of a hotel and all the convenience of an apartment. The kitchen was better equipped than most of the apartments we looked at, the room was really well planned and fitted, with separate areas for eating, sitting and sleeping, cleverly divided up by the furniture. The fittings were really well chosen and looked brand new. Having access to the steam room/sauna was an added bonus. It was just a shame that the sauna wasn't working for part of our visit.

Availability of car park and electric charging point ( flat charge of €8 per charge). Very well equipped kitchen and the view from the room if you are at the top floor, is simply amazing! Stunning room and living area. Free bicycle rental is great but there’s no kids bike just to note!

The facilities and service.

Everything about this place was excellent. The location is perfect — close to the water, with great transport connections, shops, and cafés nearby, yet away from the busy and chaotic city center. It takes only about 20 minutes by bus to reach major train and bus stations, or around 30 minutes on foot, which is very convenient. There are also public transport boats departing from right by the building to the opposite shore. The apartment itself was wonderful: very comfortable beds and pillows, amazing duvets, and a spacious bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you might need. We would also like to highlight the interior design — it’s absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully done. Everything was just perfect.

The room is clean, spacious, and has a beautiful view of the river. The hotel offers free bicycle rentals!

“An all round great hotel close to Amsterdam city centre”

Great place to stay - beautiful little studio with super comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Well equipped kitchenette. Great waterside view. Super friendly staff, great little restaurant downstairs (beer was super overpriced though!!). Easy access to city centre by taxi/uber. Free bikes too! (although a bit cold in March for retired couple to use them - had it been warmer though we would have done). Having parking on site was also a huge bonus. An all round great hotel.

“Fantastic stay!”

The reception team was fantastic from start to finish! Late checkout no problem and was able to use the spa on the last day after my Reformer class with IMove - register with them, and you get an intro pass, but its a different location that's only less than 5mins walk away! Rooms were tranquil, clean, and cosy. Great night, sleep 😴 will definitely re-visit again here soon!
