“A good place for a stay on a houseboat”

We had a warm welcome by our host Marina. She gave us a lot of good suggestions what to visit in Amsterdam. The room was spacious with everything we needed, incl. a small fridge, tea and coffee facility. Public transport could be reached within a 10/15 minutes walk. We really liked it!

Location easy to get into the city

On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the location is good (as shown on the map), and everything seemed clean, though the dark towels and blanket made it hard to tell. We appreciated the coffee machine and capsules, but there was nothing to wash the cups with. Plus for the provided shampoo, creams, toothpaste, etc.

It was clean and spacious. Coffee pods supplied for the coffee machine which is very helpful. Marina is a lovely host, very friendly and helpful. There’s a little garden area at the boat which was lovely to relax in after many hours of walking. Several cafes, restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The 24 tram goes straight to De Pijp area which is very vibey and trendy with lots of good restaurants. The area where the houseboat is located is beautiful with lovely canal walks and areas to relax on the grass. It’s about an hour’s walk into central Amsterdam and a lovely walk.

Houseboat charm, access to transit into city

The host was really nice and friendly! She was also very accommodating in terms of finding a key pick-up meet-up time that would work for us. The studio on the houseboat had all we needed!

Nice to experience a house boat. A lot of space in the room. Nice little corner with coffee and a kettle. The room smelled ok.

Nice place and nice host. Marina gave me lots of information and tips and the studio had everything I needed incl. tea and coffee. Good connections to the city centre by public transports.

Considerate and helpful host. Little kitchenette is handy. Bus and tram stop nearby.

It is a lovely houseboat with all the facilities one might need for a short stay. The host is lovely and it felt very nice and warm meeting her

Very nice place to stay, in a good location well connected to the city centre, close to train and metro stations, and with a nice host. Recommended!

“Studio stay”

Very happy with our 7 day stay.The studio was very spacious with a kitchenette to make a sandwich or heat food. Own bathroom with big shower. Marina was very helpfull. €250 cash deposit for damage which we got back on day we booked out. Easy 12min walk to tram/bus and 15min to metro.

Unique stay on a houseboat, spacious & well equipped room in a quiet neighbourhood, friendly host.

It was a good location for me considering where I had to go for work. It was no problem to arrive late evening.

Beautiful location, not near the center, but well linked to it and the airport. Incredibly nice host and really comfortable accommodation. Absolute bang for the buck in Amsterdam!
