Overview
Sir Albert is located only 600 metres from Museum Square and Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Leidse Square and the famous canal district are a 15-minute walk. This former diamond factory offers elegantly designed rooms with a view in De Pijp district, the Latin Quarter of Amsterdam. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The interior of each elegantly designed room is inspired by various art movements from the past. Created by international award-winning designers from BK Architecture, the rooms have an Illy coffee machine, LED satellite TV, hairdryer and complimentary luxurious toiletries. Guests can have dinner at restaurant IZAKAYA, Asian Kitchen & Bar. Here guests can enjoy Japanese robata grill dishes while watching the chefs work. They can also relax with a drink at the bar or take a seat on on IZAKAYA's private terrace among Amsterdam locals. Facilities of the hotel include a study with a fireplace and library and valet parking. On-site bicycle rental is also available. The Vondelpark and the Leidseplein entertainment area offer an amusing stroll. For high-end shopping, guests can go to P.C. Hooftstraat, 1 km away. Tram 24 stops 300 metres from the hotel and links to all major tourist sights and Amsterdam Central Station.

The staff were very helpful. Quickly changed my room to one on the top floor. If you book, it is worth asking for one on the top floor as you get lovely rooftop views. The new room was good (light and airy) although the heating wasn't really working. It was very cold at night. Mentioned it to the front desk who altered something on his computer and it improved a bit, but it was still insufficient. Good location for the trendy area nearby. Great street market and fun bars and restaurants.

“Good location, fancy place, not expensive though”
Very big bed, lots of space, very good room size and amenities. When we asked staff for more towels, coffee capsules or iron etc they were immediately brought up. Staff were excellent to help at all times. Would stay again for sure!

“Fun stay at Sir Albert”
Great location, staff were very personable and had great tips / good conversations. The bar / restaurant has a great atmosphere at night and good DJ until late but you couldn't hear it from the rooms. Rooms are modern, small but with everything you need
