It was an excellent location just a 15 minute walk to the free ferry which goes to Amsterdam Central. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfy and it was a very quiet area. I would highly recommend!

The house and the neighbourhood is modern and amazing, very unique and safe. It was so easy to get to using the free ferry from central station, meaning we spent nothing on travel.

Lovely clean apartment with excellent facilities. The kitchen was very well appointed and the host provided some butter and milk which was much appreciated. The underfloor heating was great and kept the apartment at a very consistent temperature. The location is in Amsterdam-Noord so is a little further out from the centre but there is a free ferry which is about a 15 min walk from the apartment. It runs every 15 mins and takes you directly to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Around the ferry stop there are also restaurants, cafes a bakery and a supermarket which was really convenient. You can also take a short walk to the bus stop where you can catch frequent buses to Noorderpark metro station. We briefly met the host at the end of our stay which was lovely and she also replied very quickly throughout our stay to any questions we had. Overall I would highly recommend staying in this funky modern apartment if you are looking for a quieter location and don't mind traveling into the city centre.

“Straightforward, pleasant, cosy”

I have only good words for this review! The instructions we received for checking in and out were super clear, and Jansje was very communicative leading up to and during our stay. There's a folder with a comprehensive guide on everything in the flat, along with local recommendations in NDSM for places to eat and drink. The flat is very well decorated and cosy and felt very much like we were welcome there! The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for fairly simple cooking. Location wise, you're about 10-15 mins walk from a supermarket, bars, restaurants, and couple of ferry ports, from which you can get to Centraal and Houthavens. No complaints from me there. The area around the flat doesn't feel as quaint as some parts of the main city (not a problem, more observation), but it was very quiet and felt very safe to be in.

The studio design was super cool and the place was spotless! Owner was very helpful too :) Pictures don't do it justice. The studio is situated in a lovely quiet area and is only a 15 minute bike+ferry ride away from the city centre.

Fabulous place to stay. Not only is it a spacious place there are so many special touches added. Anything you may have forgotten will be there and some. Shhhhhh don’t tell too many people about it otherwise we won’t be able to visit again
