Rob is very nice, intresting to learn some history of the canals and amsterdam from a local that has lived here many years. Nice change to live in an apartment than a hotel/hostel. Great market nearby.

“Best choice in Amsterdam”
I couldn't have chosen a better place than this. The host is very polite, very helpful, and always willing to help with anything. The location is the best in the city, close to everything, and the room is very comfortable and has the added bonus of an exclusive balcony. I will definitely come back whenever I go to Amsterdam. In addition to a good place to stay, I also gained a good friend. Thanks Rob!

“A cosy place to relax ,right in the heart of Amsterdam”
Centrally located, all amenities close by. Rob was an excellent host and we had some truly enjoyable and enlightening conversations. The double bed took up most of the space in the room but, this wasn’t an inconvenience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Rob is a lovely and welcoming host. The flat is comfortable and in a great location, a short walk from great restaurants, shops and the museum quarter is a 15 minute walk away.

Is was very good to be in a central, but quiet location. Rob was very detailed in the informations and suggestions made. Althou the room was very compact, the exteroor space was very good and the bed was very comfortable.

“Well below the standard expected of tourist accommodation of any kind, anywehre in the world.”
We did not stay because it was not as advertised, The inflexibility of the host and booking.com to facilitate any sort of refund is apalling customer relations. This was a really bad and expensive experience.

“Great host, great location”
As many said in other comments, I felt I was a guest at a friend’s house. Rob was an excellent host who made me comfortable straight away. I had some interesting conversations with him. He was also very helpful even before my staying had started, giving me very good indications on how to get to the flat. He then gave me lots of tips on places to visiting nearby (printed out). The location is great. About 15 minutes walk from the busy centre. The house is quiet and the bed is comfortable, so I had good nights sleeps during my staying.
