The property was outstanding. The service was great. The location was very nice. Mr Gurmehar is an excellent host. I frequently visit Amritsar and so far this is my stay with family ever. My pets were also allowed tonplay in the property. Also, there were some more details to visit Darbar sahib which we were unaware of, was preached my Gurmehar ji... All in all I was having a great time while staying there.

He is a very knowledgeable man who can cater to create a personalised itinerary for your personal preferences. The establishment is well equipped and gives a homely experience. “Extraordinary and memorable stay”

In terms of the property itself all was good: I missed a window in my room and fresh air, and liked the garden; taking an Uber to and from the property was easy (eg. to Harmandir Sahib); and the staff were friendly and kind. I had a driver Hargurudev for two very significant personal trips, who I recommend most highly. In terms of the owner Gurmaher I'd give double excellent if possible. I had a medical emergency whilst staying there and he took care of me throughout - under instruction from my son in UK and sister - got me to hospital, brought me what I needed, kept an eye on things, and welcomed me back to the guesthouse and helped with onward travel. Above and beyond is the expression that comes to mind, and I am eternally grateful to him, his family and staff.

The highlight of our visit at this homestay was the engagement with our host. He was extremely helpful, friendly and gave us a generous amount of his time explaining the Golden Temple and Sikhism. The host was very welcoming and patient even though we arrived late, and parking was already arranged which was really helpful. The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. All amenities worked properly and instructions were clear. The best part was the host helping us plan our itinerary, from visiting the Golden Temple smoothly to recommending excellent local food spots. It genuinely made the trip easier and more enjoyable. Convenient location and a very comfortable stay overall. Would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amritsar.

We had an amazing 3 nights stay at De Manora Homes, Amritsar. The host is extremely hospitable and runs the place with passion and commitment. The staff is equally committed to their tasks. It’s a perfect place to book if you are travelling as a family or in a small group. With 8 efficiently planned rooms, the property can accommodate 18-20 guest with ease. The kitchen has limited options but that’s not a concern in Amritsar as its extensive network of Dhabas work well and the property helps you to order food from any place of your choice. Gurmehar has amazing knowledge on the history of Amritsar and he is not shy of sharing the same with the guests as a passion. The visit to Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple) after his briefing makes the temple visit much more meaningful and effective. Highly recommend everyone to plan their next stay at De Manora Homes!

Had an amazing experience at this stay. The warmth welcome by the owner is really appreciated.
