Sevice was great.

The location was fantastic, close to the Golden Temple, but also noticably removed from the hustle of the nation street. Avijit was an excellent host - he stayed a driver for us to the Attari-Wagah Border, which we highly recommend. The ceremony is so entertaining, and having the hotel driver take you is reassuring and safe - local taxi may seem cheaper, but we felt very looked after and would pay extra for that, as thousands of people attend this event every day. Avijit also kindly organized is a local breakfast for a small cost - definitely recommend asking him about this as it was delicious! The bed was comfy and the rooms were made up fresh each day. The garden courtyard is quiet and cool, and it was lovely to access this directly outside our room.

We stayed 3 nights and we were very happy there. It’s a small guest house, the staff is very nice and helpful. The room is comfortable, the bathroom large and it has plenty of hot water and even a shower cubicle! There is a small open space with a couple of tables, enough for something to eat or a rest. It’s in a small lane with very little traffic, very quiet, we slept great!

The host is amazingly nice! We arrived at 5am and we could immediately check in and sleep even though we only booked the following night. Then at 9.30 am we got a complimentary breakfast (amritsari specialty) which was also very good! Also the location is really good, 5 mins walking distance from the golden temple

Location is really good. Five minutes walk to the temple but on a quiet street. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided every day for a small extra cost. Laundry was also provided for an extra cost and our clothes came back very clean and fresh. The room was a little damp in parts but given the low cost of this hotel, it was perfect and a bargain.

The owner was very helpful, he came to pick me up because my driver was lost. The bedroom is very clean and silent and the window on the garden is very pleasant. The staff is very polite and friendly and I felt very safe.

“Perfect stay”

The room and the bedding was perfectly clean. Even though the room we were in different have a window you could see through (there was a window with frosted glass) the room was so big and airy with good air flow from the fan and air conditioning if you wanted it. The breakfast was delicious, we were served kulcha (the local dish) and it was even better than the best reviewed local restaurants! We were well looked after but all people running the hotel. They made sure our every need was met. The location was ideal, it was only a ten minute walk from all of the main action of the city including the Golden Temple, but the street was lovely and quiet. I think a solo female traveller would feel safe here, there was a female member of staff always around and only ever one or two males around, and the hotel always has someone in reception by the entrance (at most other hotels I’ve stayed at in India there’s normally over 3 men in the guest area, which is quite intimidating- here, that was not the case).

The staff. The manager was so accommodating and hospitable that I honestly cannot imagine what else he could have done to make us feel more welcomed. He gladly helped us organise whatever we needed and was able to sort out even the weirdest asks on our end. Exemplary service. Location also could hardly be better.

Location is within walking distance to the temple and Jaliawala bagh. The host and staff were very receptive to our requests.

The manager welcomed us warmly, did only the essentials at check-in and showed us to our room in less than 5 mins. He did not require payment until the time of check - out. He clearly explained the points of interest in the area and provided us with an easy to follow map. Our complimentary breakfast was so delicious. We enjoyed it in the relaxing garden area. The kulcha was the best of anywhere. We loved the location. It was quiet and authentic, and only 2 minutes walk to the lively streets and shops. The golden temple is truly only 5 mins walk. We were allowed free luggage storage for the day after check-out. When we returned from sightseeing we were allowed to rest in the garden area and given bottled water free of charge. It is the service here that makes this stay special. I definitely recommend it,

Nice place, comfortable and modern. My room was clean and everything worked, though the ceiling fan was too noisy to use. Good location in a back street 10 minutes walk from the GT.

Excellent location close to Golden Temple, Partition Museum, city walking tour and restaurants. Owner very helpful arranging transport for other sights. After deluging monsoonal rain was proactive in checking room for any water ingress in bathroom.
