“Lovely room, but spa facilities on site need repair.”
Reception, our room, restaurant and the pool were lovely! Bed was extremely comfortable and food in restaurant was great with quick service. Staff were also great.

It is quite literally in the jungle. The city is not far away if you have a scooter, though. Very calm environment. You can also use their another hotel which is by the sea and use their pool there for free as well.

The location is very quiet on a hillside in the trees/jungle which I really liked. The Wifi is solid. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They have two sites, with the other being on the beach in Lamai which you have access.

“Perfect getaway with ideal balance with wilderness and comfort”
Beautiful place in the jungle foothills with luxurious amenities. One of the most stylish hotels on island. You can come with free shuttle to beach side in the same hotel property and spent whole day in quiet beach under the banyan tree near hotel restaurant with bird singing.

“Might be nice to calmly spend couple of days in a beautiful garden, without high expectations.”
Some years ago it probably was a nice resort, but now its not maintained well. Bungalows and pool in the beautiful jungle garden look great from outside and on pictures. AC and anti insect thing work really well. WiFi is strong and works everywhere.

“Room with mouse and insects”
We stayed at the spa resort at Lamai village, we didn’t have warm water for shower, and staff were not helpful to fix it. On the last day we found out mouses were inside the room the whole time!

just a few minutes away from main Lamai area and yet is in the peaceful jungle. Very cozy comfortable rooms. there is a a free transfer between Lamai village and Lamai beach.

“Detox for the soul”
Very relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is located in the forest. It is quiet and very calming. The food at the restaurant ist amazing. Try frued banana! So tasty

“Quiet hideaway in a lush island -jungle with cute Thai-style wooden cabins”
If you are looking for a little hideaway from the busy beach side this is a wonderful place to stay. It’s up the hill; nice and quiet and amongst lush green trees and island jungle sounds. The staff is most friendly and the restaurant serves very good Thai and healthy western food all day in very royal portions! The room has a very nice terras with a sofa-bed so for closing your eyes and enjoying the jungle sounds it’s perfect. The beds are really soft and comfortable so if you love sleeping with nature sounds in the background, this is for you. I did know that the facility was a 20min walk from the busy beach side so I didn’t mind going up and down the hill. Just after dark, you might consider a taxi since it is very dark out there. At the shore there are plenty of little restaurants and bars for your entertainment.
