“Disappointing”

We are extremely disappointed and shocked by this rental, which in no way matches the listing and is absolutely not worth the price charged. From the moment we arrived, several aspects were misleading. The terrace, presented as a highlight, is in reality tiny, shared with another unit, and cluttered with cleaning equipment, which is far from welcoming. There is also a wooden structure supporting a vine that appears unstable and gives the impression it could collapse at any moment. In addition, both the terrace and the apartment directly face very close neighbors who are constantly present and speak loudly, eliminating any sense of privacy and making the stay uncomfortable. The apartment itself is very small, dark, and poorly designed. With two suitcases, the entire floor space is taken up, making movement difficult. A shelf contains an old duvet without a cover that occupies all the available space, making the storage unusable and raising obvious hygiene concerns. The equipment is inconsistent and in poor condition. Pots and pans are provided, yet there is no proper cooking equipment. The dishes are dirty, with dust and hair present. The hairdryer barely works. The refrigerator is extremely small and very noisy, comparable to an old engine. Cleanliness is a major issue. The armchairs are dirty and feel as though they have not been cleaned in a long time. There are no proper bed sheets, replaced by a rough, dirty blanket with a strong unpleasant (moldy) smell. The towels also smell very bad. Overall, it is, to be clear, disgusting and completely unacceptable at this price level. Comfort is nonexistent. The bed is of very poor quality, uncomfortable, and extremely noisy with the slightest movement. The setup is poorly thought out: many lights (router, television, electrical panel, shutters) remain visible and disruptive at night. The openings are not properly covered: two glass doors face directly onto the bed, with ineffective coverings that let light through.

The location is the best for the Chora and to reach the bus with luggage’s, The apartment has a beautiful private court with a special atmosphere, the inside small but clean and cozy and comfortable for a couple. The host was very available , gave us a list of suggestion and tips , everything that we tried was a real good experience, plus I contacted her for some extra info on how to reach some beaches and she was always very helpful and kind. There were some good attentions like having fresh water in the fridge welcoming us , nespresso capsules , shampoo and a little welcome gift. We loved Amorgos and this apartment was the perfect spot to enjoy it. Try the bakery and the restaurant next door !

We loved the location of the house, it was quiet but at the same time near to everything. A small apartment with a private outer space, immersed in the chora atmosphere!

“Wonderful stay in Chora”

The Dream House Little Villa was beautiful in the lovely town of Chora. The location is fantastic. The house itself has everything you needs and is finished to a high spec. The little courtyard outside is really lovely to eat breakfast and have some time in the evening. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to stay in the old town then this place is perfect for you. A fabulous stay and would 100% stay again.

“Spot on home in the heart of chora Amorgos”

We really loved our stay! Beautiful traditional home in the chora of Amorgos. Really central yet quiet, enjoyable and private. The house has been recently refurbished with attention to every details. It also has a really nice patio to spend time outside. The location is perfect to explore the island. Check in was smooth and Skourta was very welcoming and accommodating. Really recommend!
