“Wonderful hidden gem to stay overnight with a lovely welcome.”

Rooms were very clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Outside facilities were great for the children to play. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was delicious.

This was a lovely stop for us. We spent one night but would have happily spent more..friendly people, comfy room and tasty breakfast.

Lovely warm welcome and tour of the room/facilities by Claire, despite us arriving late in the evening. Excellent quality and cleanliness of bedding. The beds were very comfortable, enabling a much needed good night’s sleep. Nice breakfast and Claire was a superb host. Thank you Claire!

The breakfast was very nice. Fruit and home made jam. Nice local breads and excellent coffee. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was steeped in history and very spacious and very clean. We will come again. The facilities were excellent- we enjoyed being able to use the kitchen facilities.

Madame was a lovely lady who prepared an excellent breakfast for us (took into account our request for a gluten-free option) and was chatty and very interesting as we ate. A really incredible building of which I would have liked to have seen more.

Beautiful property. Full of charm and quirky with some many old features. Lovely breakfast by warm fire in a friendly atmosphere with the host and other guests. Very calm remote location.

Such an amazing place. Clare the host was a wonderful lady and was so welcoming.

Claire, the host and owner, was really welcoming. She met us on arrival and showed us around. Our room was perfect for a family of four, and a yummy breakfast was put on. We arrived late and cooking facilities were available for us to make a quick dinner for the children.

We booked a one night stay as a stop over en route to the south. Claire and her family made us feel very welcome and we loved the family room we stayed in. The room was tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and we would fully recommend maison le Saint- Aubin to other travellers

What a fabulous place, Claire was so welcoming, the room was large and comfortable, great outside space for an Al fresco supper, fridge and sink available, no restaurants close by so we were happy to sit outside with wine and cheese!! Lovely breakfast with homemade jams etc. Ours was an overnight stop on our way South but would definitely return.
