Overview
Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is a small seaside guest house. The beautiful venue has come into new management, a small family run business. The three star facility focuses on customer satisfaction while ensuring hospitable and personable service. Located on the venue is an outdoor pool and on-site restaurant operating only for breakfast. Complementary Wi-Fi is provided in public areas, so enjoy a coffee and a view while you finish up on work. Our rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning, a television set, microwave, fridge and other essential equipment. The main focal point being the surrounding scenery accessible to view on a private balcony. Wanderers Rest on Kangaroo Island is 38km grin the ferry terminal at Penneshaw. We loved the location of the property and the views from the room. Dhea is an amazing host and friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Their dog is very cute and always there to greet you. Breakfast by chef was delicious and we recommend this beautiful property to anyone coming over to KI

“A fantastic friendly, small hotel ideally situated with wonderful food.”
The accommodation was really good and of high quality with lovely views over the sea. Dhea was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. The Breakfasts were amazing and you must try the 7 course gourmet taster menu at least one evening during your stay, Nicolas is an excellent chef. Would definitely recommend for a visit to Kangaroo Island.
