Overview
Located on the border of Tuscany and Liguria, Locanda dell’ Angelo is a stylish structure surrounded by green fields, near the ancient ruins of the Roman town of Luni. It is a 1-hour drive from Pisa and its leaning tower, the walls of Lucca and historic Florence. Italian designer Vico Magistretti conceived the building as a mirror reflecting the white of the Apuan Alps and the blue of the Ligurian sea. In the same spirit, the interiors of Locanda dell’Angelo are decorated with works of contemporary artists. The ample garden is filled with olive trees and Mediterranean oaks. The swimming pool is in marble, equipped with a hydromassage corner.

it wasnt in the city silent place next to the road, with private parking next to the hotel. no body can see your car. good breakfast

“Spacious, modern and clean hotel with excellent service”
We loved our room which was upgraded to a suite with a bath in the room. Very spacious and clean. The staff was really friendly and went all out to help with any request we had. Drinks at the pool came with free antipasti. The large pool is situated an an enormous garden with plenty of shade and sunbeds. The location is ideal as it is really quiet but a short walk to the beach with its beach clubs and restaurants. Unfortunately many were closed as covid prevented them from opening profitably, but we had a lovely time, also because its ideally located to visit the five villages of Cinque Terre. Just a short drive via Spezia, and Locanda dell’Angelo certainly offers much more value for money than the hotels at Cinque Terre itself!
