“Charming cottage above Dalen”
During a business trip, I managed to squeeze in a very brief visit to the beautiful Telemark region. It was a wonderful surprise. The apartment was actually a chalet in the mountains above Dalen, large enough for more than six people. Cozy, quiet, traditional, and secluded, it had a ground floor and a spacious attic. Even though it was June, we lit the wood stove and enjoyed the chalet, which also has a veranda perfect for breakfast. Just a short walk away was a very convenient 24/7 grocery store. The hosts were incredibly kind and pleasant; we talked with them a lot

This place is simply wonderful, managed by exceptional hosts. Surrounded my mountains and with a river view. The cabin is well equipped and very cozy.

“Exiting and giving perfect rest!”
The location and the very friendly family living there. Including the art gallery with beautiful pictures made by the philosopher, very takented and most kind son Thor. Coffee with the host (both fluently in English!) on the terrace was such welcoming pleasure!

We were upgraded to a different cabin and supposidly the one we had booked, although the pictures do not fit the description as it was meant to be an entire apartment, whereas the one we apparently btly booked didnt have a bathroom.

“I can fully reccomend this accomodation. Nice people to talk, place, and good location.”
Cabin which we stayed were nice and fully equiped. Nice was, that fire place was running before we came. There is also art galery, with beautifull pictures you can buy.
